The reality is it isn't a good daily driver for everyone. You wouldnt like it Pete, I probably wouldn't like it.

There's a fair wait for the power, but when it comes it would certainly be fun.

Can't wait to see some quarter mile times. That's when the car will shine.

Thats cool, and this car sounds like it will be magic and the time it took to build is amazing from my limited experience :)

I would like to ask, what you think its 1/4 time could be, like Nitto or MGAWOT 11, they would be hard to match and build it in a month ?

How do you learn if you do not ask questions :)

HOMEWRECKER where are you , the holidays are over ??

The reality is, the OP built the car for himself, the way he wanted it, and this is his build thread. Of course it's going to have some element of lag, as if you'd get 1000hp by 4000rpm. But either way, who cares? No point carrying on about it.

Exactly, over 2 pages of rubbish posts.

I've had DD laggy cars, you just work around it.

This turbo mite have good transient response so it may not feel as laggy.

also it mite be good on fuel due to not hitting boost so often.

At last , someone has given me an idea how it could drive on the road and what makes it all work in together, no need for insults because someone asked a question to learn something , I think the extra 0.2 Lt has to help as well, thanks 29

I have seen Videos of street cars driven to the track, kick arse and then driven home as the others are being loaded on a flat top. Laggy , I would not have a clue or give a fark, just enjoyed the Vids.

This one, maybe a sub 10 secs DD as our 34s are pretty heavy dressed and looking great doing it.

Vids please Homewrecker  I am sure you have not taken offense at being asked questions about your build, love it :worship:

don't know why people say it wouldn't make a good daily.

You could drive it to and from work and never hit boost, N/A 34 anyone? :rofl2:

But seriously you would just drive it not on boost most of the time.

It's a fair effort to make 1000hp at all four

If you don't me asking, what option OS88 have you got and with what diff ratios

I have a option 2 on the way which i'm going to run with the stock diffs

I'm in the same boat, option 2 with the stronger input shaft

Would be nicer to drive than something coming on boost at 3 grand that's for sure. But I love lag so this comment doesn't count. :D

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
