Long time lurker I think I'm a first time poster
At 1:30 last night (19/04/2015) a pair of jackasses stole my pride and joy from Fairfield in Victoria

My Midnight Purple 1995 r33 GTR Vspec
REGO: UED 795
V/N No: 6T91MPV97S1WDR001
ENGINE No: RB26051133A
As you can imagine I am completely devastated (I freaking loved the car)
The car has been serviced and worked on by Racepace here in Vic since 2006 and was in amazing condition, the photos probably don't do it justice.
The Volk ce38n's had a little bit of gutter rash on them but more distinctively had a grove around the inside of one of the rims where a rock managed to get jammed between the caliper and the wheel.
Bellow is a list of parts that were on it
18 * 10.5 Volk CE 38n's on Bridgestone 285/30/18 RE55
3.5 inch Race Pace straight through exhaust
Apexii PowerFC Computer and controller
TEIN RS suspension and camber arms
Alcon brakes (6 pot front, 4 pot rear)
Garrett 2860r turbos
Koyo Radiator
and a bunch of other stuff like a new clutch, oil cooler and custom catch can, rear harness bar and front harnesses.
Forgive the pictures but I'm on my not on my computer typing this.

Yeah it was in a "secure" carpark, however earlier in the week someone broke into another car and stole a remote for the garage door.

The car had an old alarm and immobilizer however it had been stuffing up and sometimes not engaging. So I'm not sure if they managed to bypass it or if it just wasn't on.

The suspension was racepace modified. Come to think of it I may have the number for them somewhere, I'll have to go through my 10 years worth of receipts I have for the car :S

Thanks Guys don't like my chances of finding it in one piece :(

Figured I should put up the CCTV images of one of the jerks that was given to me from the apartment block.

Sorry for the slow reply, I totally missed the thread coming back up.

After the pictures hit facebook we managed to get a name for the person who stole it. We passed this along to the police and they sent a patrol car to drive past the front of his house and that was about it, it took weeks of passing bits of information along to them till they finally raided a number of properties that he lived in.

They found a number of stolen cars but sadly not mine :( His trial is in a few months, I'm not even sure if they will even try to bust him for stealing my car along with the other three. Apparently he is suspected of stealing a fair few cars around the area in the last year.

Funny enough he was already on parole for stealing a Porsche to fund has Ice addiction a few years back.

The car hasn't been recovered and he isn't talking, why would he? He will be out in a few months and hell he got bloody married a few weeks ago in prison apparently.

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
