Is it okay if i enter in a beastly mazda 2??

Actually would go perfectly fine on the skidpan... You don't need power or rwd to have stupid amounts of fun

don;t think we ahve had a roll over, I do remember seeing a FOz's spinning drive shafts it was that angled over however.

another club had a Micra roll over.

but huge turbo and stock suspension and not the chicanes we use...bad mojo..

Mick came up last time in his Territory... It wallowed about it dominated times... came 2nd in 4wd if I recall correctly... Keep in mind it was up against evos and gtrs...

Maybe not the ML then... Probably not the S500L either, that big barge wouldn't get around the first cone....

Something a bit more nimble might come up.

Does this go through regardless of weather? Just with it being this time of year wasn't sure if it would get cancelled if it's heavy rain / storms?

Definitely not cancelled, would just mean a really slippery skid pan. Bring a poncho and umbrella, we haven't cancelled one yet!

all wet weather does is take the advantage away from those 300+kw track cars.

and those with a bit more road orientation have much much more chance.

oh and cheating evos as well.

Would not mind slightly wet skidpan, it's usually fun when there's one or two puddles but not completely soaked

I don't have a handbrake to slide and my guards aren't liking full lock at the moment :(

Wet skidpan is fine...

wet back track though.... my fear is real, even though there's no enbankments

Yeah that's my concern, that looked sketchy in that recent vid in the dry.... no real run off there... tree's oh god the tree's.

The back tracks have been modified since the last videos were taken, they've now got protective barriers between you and any hazard... It's 10 times safer for you and your car than any other real race track, haven't seen any real damage to a car in all the years I've been going...

You'd be surprised how well you can go time wise with these, just by taking them slowly...you end up beating everyone who hits a cone in the finishing gate and those who spin out / lose it. Take it at your own pace - you get an 80% run before your timed run; good chance to scope out how fast you wanna take it.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
