fmlycar
New fuel pump in and a new set of plugs again for good measure and you'd never know the was a problem Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/458035-another-rb25-misfire-topic/page/7/#findComment-7588115 Share on other sites
fmlycar
So I gave it a squirt last night. Injector duty still really high but I did notice water temp dropped from 77c to 73c in the space of 300m when I got into it. Ben C34
You are flirting with danger modifying the Injector settings without a wideband. The fact the coolant temp appeared to drop would mean the ecu would add fuel, probably the problem all along. No way did the settings in the ecu change by themselves. Hadouken
So when are you buying a new motor? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/458035-another-rb25-misfire-topic/page/7/#findComment-7588326 Share on other sites
fmlycar
Thats the thing, when I drove it last night nothing had been changed by me. How can the tune go from being fine for months and then all of a sudden be really rich? Spoke to a workshop in adelaide and he suggested that is has a currupt file. It's getting tuned in 3 weeks so that should clear that up. Dose Pipe Sutututu
or your water temp sensor is cactus... potentially accessing enrichment values from the water temp correction table... buy a wide band already, it's cheaper than a new motor. fmlycar
Found the problem. Somewhere along the lines the wrong afm was selected. Changed it to the vg30 setting and I'm back in business Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/458035-another-rb25-misfire-topic/page/7/#findComment-7608783 Share on other sites
