What is your target for 88e?

The share will be in the dollar/s before I think about selling

Can't say I won't be swayed into selling if it ten bags again though; everyone has a price and I just trust my gut

So $1 per share would be a MC of over 4Bil - crazy!

Even at today's prices that's over 20 bags :)

Hope you are right, however I might wait until next cap raise :P

Don't have one right now, but I wouldn't spruik another one anyway...from my experiences over the last 12 months you get not even a thank you when you make people decent money, but cop a lot of shit if they lose it lol

...you left out the one where you tipped and the company went down like 50% the next day. Still waiting for that 5 bagger too. Selective facts?

Irony-In-Real-Life-Featured.png

as for the 5 bagger, 3 weeks prior to posting it was 0.01. had an intra day of 0.58.

By normal people maths, I'd say that was a 5 bagger at least.

That said, I'm all in for 88E, so not looking for other opportunities right now. It's my Fortescue Metals and I'll either lose some savings or come out of it buying a house in cash. The way I see it: I can save more money as needed, but there may not be another 88E in my investment lifetime.

Can someone who made decent money respond with a thanks? Dezz?
Is there a future for Atlas Iron?

Next few months are going to be interesting

Iron is over. Copper and aluminium are the next hot items. Mongolian super mine opening soon and growth in production in bauxite / alum

Just had a look at 88e

Last qtr cash burn $15M

Cash $20M

MC around 150M

Pretty scary - when are they planning to generate some revenue?

When/if the oil comes out of the ground. You're investing in investment

Not your average share/company/operation

You're in with them, their jobs and all...either make or break and that's what I love about it. Big risk big return. The company drilled a duster in morocco previously - share price tumbled HARD. Rebranded themselves and found a new operation, but this one at least has oil. Just a question of how to get it out of the ground in a profitable way and when oil will return to a profitable state for unconventional wells. If those two questions can be answered positively in the future, the company assets will be in the billions and revenue will of course follow.

Crazy, but we also thought 8 cents was crazy and out of the question when our share was 0.6 cents...those who had faith were rewarded handsomely. So a ten bag from the peak no longer seemed insane to us either. This is speculative investing - big risk big return.

And that's before any oil has been pulled out of the ground - pure speculation. Wait til the black stuff actually arrives!

Dezz got on late and is the first to blame only himself for that, he did the same with Jase's fizzlers. I'm more talking about the people who were actually up at one point but didn't sell out and take profits...weren't you one of them?

Now THAT is hindsight!

I know of this company called Amazon...you should invest in them...like 15 years ago.

Haven't forgotten about XTV either, which seems to be locked in investor limbo.

And yeah a 4 bil market cap sounds crazy for a small/micro cap player, but when you're sitting atop near on a billion barrels of oil and every dollar the price of oil rises above your break even mark means an asset value increase of roughly a billion dollars...it's not unreasonable!

Not trying to convince anyone to get on board here either, as said earlier I have more to lose from doing that...more stating why I'm convinced on this one.

Who needs shares. I learnt how to play craps and baccarat over the weekend. Between that and the upcoming NBA season, I might make my way over to hotcopper and tell them they all have patience of a saint to make $100 profit a week

    • Yeah well per the video it took 15s for the stock unit to start up....even if I give it a few seconds discount for starting that is at least 12 sec before you get a reverse camera if you are trying to leave a park.  The android unit is way faster, but 2016 for the stock unit is a long time ago in consumer electronics
    • Yea that’s why I said ima test them with multimeter and see the reads.
    • Only at idle. Isn’t a problem when rev it seems.
    • @Haggerty This seems silly to ask, but are you confident in your ability to tune the Haltech?
    • Next on the to-do list was an oil and filter change. Nothing exciting to add here except the oil filter is in a really stupid place (facing the engine mount/subframe/steering rack). GReddy do a relocation kit which puts it towards the gearbox, I would have preferred towards the front but there's obviously a lot more stuff there. Something I'll have to look at for the next service perhaps. First time using Valvoline oil, although I can't see it being any different to most other brands Nice... The oil filter location... At least the subframe wont rust any time soon I picked up a genuine fuel filter, this is part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank. Access can be found underneath the rear seat, you'll see this triangular cover Remove the 3x plastic 10mm nuts and lift the cover up, pushing the rubber grommet through The yellow fuel line clips push out in opposite directions, remove these completely. The two moulded fuel lines can now pull upwards to disconnect, along with the wire electrical plug. There's 8x 8mm bolts that secure the black retaining ring. The fuel pump assembly is now ready to lift out. Be mindful of the fuel hose on the side, the hose clamp on mine was catching the hose preventing it from lifting up The fuel pump/filter has an upper and lower section held on by 4 pressure clips. These did take a little bit of force, it sounded like the plastic tabs were going to break but they didn't (don't worry!) The lower section helps mount the fuel pump, there's a circular rubber gasket/grommet/seal thing on the bottom where the sock is. Undo the hose clip on the short fuel hose on the side to disconnect it from the 3 way distribution pipe to be able to lift the upper half away. Don't forget to unplug the fuel pump too! There's a few rubber O rings that will need transferring to the new filter housing, I show these in the video at the bottom of this write up. Reassembly is the reverse Here's a photo of the new filter installed, you'll be able to see where the tabs are more clearing against the yellow OEM plastic Once the assembly is re-installed, I turned the engine over a few times to help build up fuel pressure. I did panic when the car stopped turning over but I could hear the fuel pump making a noise. It eventually started and has been fine since. Found my 'lucky' coin underneath the rear seat too The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44&t=6s
