Hi guys,broke the nylon bush on the bottom of the shifter.Whats out there with basically a stock shifter but with a brass bush?

I haven't installed it, but a mate bought one for his S15 and said it made a very noticeable difference. He bought me one too lol. Cheap upgrade.

I didn't notice a difference but my nylon one was flogged out so I thought may as well replace it. My gearbox has never felt particularly nice though.

Mates RB20 box feels absolutely mint with it.

I tried to pull 5th at 8800rpm at Temora1000,it broke and went into angel gear,mmmm

haha yeah that would do it.

You could always buy a new nylon one from Nissan, they are about $1.50

I have one that's been sitting on the bench for about 2 years so I might as well throw it in.

Is there much to pulling the shifter out?

4 bolts and 1 circlip. Probably 3 minutes of work.

Bugger the length difference. What about the massive difference in diameter of the little ball at the end?

The top one looks the same as the one in my car and the bottom one looks to be something completely different, Maybe from a late model 33?
