What Ecu For Rb25det S13

Hey Guys,

Im trying to find out what ecu to use with the swap that I am doing on my s13. The engine is a R33 Series 2 rb25det, I have read that the stock 25 ecu gives it problems. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a ecu. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Maybe if you don't want to spend a lot of money you can connect adaptronic. They're not that expansive and are map based (VE) ecu's. So you can ditch your AFM

I can't see any reason why a properly wired in standard ECU would give you issues. It would get you going cheaply

then from there you can go aftermaket plugin like powerFC or Haltech later when funds allow.

standard ECU will start to be a problem if you start modifying; you will need to change it if you run more than about 14psi boost, larger injectors, larger turbo or larger AFMs
