Yeh..i suspect test colours and will do a flip for Melb

Gutted F1 is without Lorus again...i understand the heritage wasnt really there but people recognised the hustory of the name and recognition it commanded and chose to at least keep the great name alive.

Will go back to holding my breath that some loaded chap wants to bring the name Tyrrell back

I like it, but I think I read somewhere that it is indeed just a pre-season livery.

Will miss the black and gold Lotus colours thats for sure

Black and Gold were not Lotus colours really. British Racing Green and yellow were. The Black and gold livery was cigarette companies colours, same as the blue and yellow that nobody remembers.

Never really cared for the corporate bankers/capitalists trying to claim the Lotus heritage. They could have had it for $2 back in 1994 but no one wanted it then. So they pay millions for it years after it has lost most of its value. Was happy enough with the Toleman/Benetton/Renault lineage. Don't forget this was the team that gave Derrick Warwick (A former Renault factory driver too, by the way) and some bloke called Senna a break. Plus Johnny Cecotto drove for them if you wanted to follow a Venezuelan.

BTW, best driver combination ever: Johnny ChookLotto and Gianfranco BrokenTellie, Bathurst 1987.

    • I may have my math slightly wrong, I'm not double checking that again, but the factory spec for fuel pressure is to set it with the engine IDLING (in vacuum). That spec is 51PSi while idling. So now add +10psi for atmospheric, and +7 for 7psi of boost, and we need 68psi of fuel pressure at full noise, and 51psi idling. That's according to the FSM I found last night for M35. So MINIMUM fuel pressure should be 51psi and it climbs from there.
    • Provided that what you see makes sense and is not "linear" between, say 1.9 and 2.1 volts and that's the whole range you get. You still need it to be doing one end of the 0-5v range at one end of travel, and the other end of the 0-5v range at WOT.
    • So just calibrate whatever voltage the closed position and full throttle position is and check linearity ? Sounds good to me
    • go look at the live data, and slowly open and close the throttle, if it is moving in a linear fashion, just do a re-calibration. OR if you really want to, adjust the TPS position so it's under 1V (no need to be bang on a 0,45V, it's not a stock ECU), then recal. Job done, rip skids, post it here.
    • Looks better than dusted paint, and also looks better than the old OEM one, much happy
