KiwiRS4T
Pull it out and fix it. Its not under pressure. Or get one from a wrecker. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7773607 Share on other sites
boomtheroom
yeah would like new not another 20 year old plus that will leak again.. have been told by nissan they arent avail anymore so need a suitable replacement but i dont know what sort of hose to use ..fuel transmission .....how much pressure it will need to withstand ...etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782054 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Um, it's hydraulic oil.....so get hose that suits that. There's no pressure at the reservoir, on either side, like Bob said, so no worries there. MrStabby
Work out the internal diameter that's required then go to an Enzed or Pirtek and say you need hose to suit transmission fluid of that ID Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782094 Share on other sites

GTSBoy
Demount it and pull it out. Or just stuff rags under it and rip the hose off. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782139 Share on other sites

Duncan
if you are keen to fully empty it, instead of using the bleed nipple pull the large line (of the pair) off the hard line under the car above the subframe (just near the fuel filler) 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782156 Share on other sites
mr skidz
Anyone know off the top of their head how much fluid is required to flush the whole system from empty? mr skidz
Cheers I actually thought it would take more than that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782257 Share on other sites
mr skidz
manual says 1.8lSlightly off topic question but wondering how hot does this fluid get when on track and does it influence the way the attesa system works? Duncan
Personally, I only know I've never had trouble with attessa failing or changing, even during a long (1hr) race. I guess it doesn't work very hard (obviously the fluid *inside* the case is a different story, but they are separate) 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/466700-attesa-reservoir/#findComment-7782269 Share on other sites
