That's an expensive set of nice wheels. Don't spoil it by putting stupidly narrow stretched tyres like some people do!

Something like 285 35 may do the job. If the tyres stick out too much make the guards bigger don't shrink the tyres!

I ran 275x35x19 on my R34 GTR (work d9r 19 x 10.5 +15), which is mildly lowered. I couldn't go full lock without scrubbing on the inner guard linings on both sides.

I went down to a 275x30x19 tyre and used a heat gun on my inner linings. No scrub whatsoever now.

275/35r19 there pretty big dont think id like to go bigger scrubbing as it is

I understand - but then why go 10.5 wide if your not going to put the appropriate tire on there.

The below is 10 wide with a 285 - see how the sidewall is square - surely that will give the car better turning and handling - please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

From what i have read 275 or 285 is the recommended width for a 10.5 inch rim. 275 on a 9 inch rim isn't recommended as its too wide.

275 on 9in wheels are within the LVTA guidelines but the proof of the pudding is in the photos - OPs tyres are clearly stretched and the above 285s on 10 in wheels look just right.

I've got the same wheels offset etc, previously I had 275/30 no scrubbing now I have 275/35 19's nitto nt05 scrub the inner and outer guard. Then again mine isn't ride height, I wouldn't go anything thicker then the 30 series unless u want to do some suspension and camber work. My front is at 3 degrees camber to prevent my guards ripping again.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
