DONO
Does anyone know of a fuel pump that I can "directly" replace the factory one with for my N/A r33 GTS. Yes I know there's upgrade kits for more pressure etc, I'm not looking to make power I just want to replace the old pump without messing around with wiring etc, just want to direct swap it for a new one whether it be oem or aftermarket that direct fits to original bracket/wires. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/480871-direct-fuel-pump-replacement/ Share on other sites
Murray_Calavera
Just so we are on the same page, you are going to pull out the fuel pump yourself but you are not prepared to join 2 wires? DONO
For me it's more the idea that, it's literally wiring that's going to be sitting in the fuel tank, and the idea of messing that up and causing a spark isn't a pleasant thought. The labour of doing the pump isn't a problem. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/480871-direct-fuel-pump-replacement/#findComment-7937357 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Do not worry about sparks in fuel tanks. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/480871-direct-fuel-pump-replacement/#findComment-7937358 Share on other sites
Dose Pipe Sutututu
There's too much fuel vs. oxygen for combustion to occur. You could put a spark plug in there connected to your ignition system and it won't ignite.
