A VIN search on my car won't show any accidents but it's been in a couple, including one that would leave the back of the car looking like that if it hadn't been repaired correctly.

Thank you for a proper response. I had the vehicle inspected before purchase and didn’t note any structural damage. However it’s more likely the trunk is misaligned. I’m having it repainted this summer so I’ll have my painter address that issue.
