Hello just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with ks racing manifolds, I recently purchased a top mount and am happy with the overall quality but the angle of the t3 seems to be pointing the turbo  really close to the valve cover, I currently don’t have a turbo to test fit but am looking to get a 3076 and am thinking I may have fitment issues and was wondering what people have done to counter act this, and yes I’m aware 6boost is what I should have bought before everyone comments that haha. Any input appreciated 🥂

Does seem to be a stupid angle. You might end up needing an angled spacer. The trouble with spacers is they use up....space and the angle might get better but the room left is still not enough.

Yea I was thinking about a spacer but came to the same conclusion I was hoping my eyes were playing a trick on me and someone has had success with the same manifold

Sorry but WTF is that merge collector 😳😳😳

I sincerely hope that u got that for free or basically free.

I can’t see that working out for you. The most hassle free way to fix it is to take it off and buy something better.

yeah sorry but that does look pretty sh1t. I use one like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003648296789.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.11.6567474c9ga2rG&algo_pvid=912783c9-3044-4f88-a035-728286787b0c&algo_exp_id=912783c9-3044-4f88-a035-728286787b0c-5&pdp_npi=4%40dis!AUD!192.70!192.7!!!121.98!!%402101f49f16923538504684434e3acc!12000026642021204!sea!AU!4138068839!&curPageLogUid=W4PW53XF41pW

yes the wastegate outlet is shocking. No argument there...but with an EBC and the right sized turbo, boost control is not an issue. I was prepared to internally ground shite welds etc but it didn't have any issues like that, it is of decent thick construction, 3?+ years and no cracking, apart from where the wastegate tube comes out of the manifold. Welded that up and welded in a small brace to that tube, and haven't had any further issues. Fits GTX3076 just fine. I was looking at 6boost but bought this cos it was about $280 aus delivered so why not, and very happy with that choice years on now.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
