Been looking at the local ones and they are all modified and molested.

When you think about it they have all come in via import so I want to start from the start and get something nice and clean.

Also I don't have the time to go running around the country inspecting them.

If I get it through Iron Chef then he has people on the docks inspecting and they come with a grading haha so easier for me.

Why you go the import route? (honestly curious)34s around these parts I believe are less than this 16k figure...

yeah i reckon 34s here are 12k for a nice one plus you still need to get it passed dickson. i would look here first bringing a panel of experts there are nice examples around.

why the change in model anyway, besides stock s1 r33's look like a bag of dicks?

Haha to be honest I don't mind the S1 R33 the 34 does look much better though
But I just want something more reliable, not so old and newer model.

The 33 is nearing about 210,000km and everytime I replace something I find something else that needs fixing.

It's a never ending story with a car thats 20 years old.

I don't mind spending 16k importing a well looked after 34 with low km.

if you save up just a little more you can get a 34GTR Ive seen a few oing around 28000 from Japland. I imported mine and honestly the condition was better than all the one i had looked at. Things may have changed now with the market

:laugh:NEO is appealing.

yeah thats fair enough, plus the neo head is appealing. Get some real wheels for your next car though....

haha........i got vs xx's brand new delivered to my door for 2k i had to wait though.

Yeah I love those wheels.. If they were 1800 I might consider it in the future.. But all the ones I can find are around 3 grand lol... Far to expensive for my liking :(

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
