Its ready to go. Heatgun also available.

Do you mind giving me a hand this weekend Mik?

I have never used one, normally I just smash at it with a hammer.

Plus the heatgun isn't needed lol, I already cracked the paint in the guards with said hammer :/

Let's just say I'm used to having a rat bag R33 haha and I man handled my nice 34 :(

>_< Oh i hate how that happens, being careful then... some sht goes wrong and theres a great big scratch.

Im so used to doing things the easy way too, its a totally different approach to do things with insurance.

The only insurances i use are chassis stands and have a fire extinguisher handy.

Dunno how they compare, (the rb20 box and the 34 box), but i can outshift my box with the standard length shifter.

Basically you can shift faster than the synchros can handle and you get a little crunch.

If r 34 is the same then theres really no point getting a short shifter.

You can try it and see, also search the forums, thats how i found out about it.

Has anybody moved house recently? I'm not sure how the electricity works lol.... I left it on at my old place so the new people wouldn't be without electricity (it was left on for us in this place, so I figured I'd do the same), but it's now been a couple of weeks so I just did the online thing to get the final reading and close my account.

Do I just assume that the new people have had the smarts and opened an account by now?

Did you sell or are you renting?

If renting it out. Courtesy - Let them know what you did

Unless you left instructions about Gas, Electricty, Phone)

If sold. Not an issue they should have advised the utilities peeps.

Be annoying if you came home to find no power.

It's rented out. Yeah I wondered if I should get my Property Manager to let them know. I just figured that it's been a couple of weeks so surely they would have sorted out their choice of energy provider by now.

Just wasn't sure how it all worked! The last time I rented, I think we rang up a few days beforehand so that it was connected by the time we moved in. If you didn't do that, tough shit!

Arhh okay, that makes sense. I was changing faster than the synchros from 4-5 and sometimes 3-4th as John explained to me yesterday. I original thought it was a clutch issue. So, I may avoid the short shifter. A friend of mind recommended it. Thanks Mik

The Property manager should be doing this stuff

Whatchu paying then for if they're not taken care of you :)

All good, I asked him and he said that yes, they've had it in their name since the beginning of the lease :)

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
