Ok. Im creating this thread as a means to try and create a link to popular threads within Forced Induction.

If you have a thread post in here, and i shall add it too the list if its good enough.

We are looking for threads with:

Bloody brilliant idea.

What about some guides (or links to posts) about what is needed for turbo upgrades.

Like the steps required?

I've been searching and there's bits and pieces but no actual simple guide on what's required and when.

Looks like some great guides there that I will be using when I fit my Greddy inlet and Top mount, but all the links seem to be dead.

Am I going mad?

    • Had a quick play over the weekend.  Finished off a few small jobs on the engine (fit the oil baffles and splash guards into the valve covers, fit starter motor, alternator, etc) before it's ready to go back into the engine bay.  Onto re-wiring the whole shit-show again soon, oh joy.....    Also had a bit of a play with firewall insulation.  Very hard to gather anything from the pic below as it looks completyely shit but hoping to use it to neaten the firewall but also to hide the brake hoses behind it as well.  I was going to completely re-route the hoses but if I can hide them behind the head shield and still look nice then I'll go that way.  I think I'll still re-route the brake lines to some degree.  Will probably use flexible braided hose just to allow a bit more flexibility moving the hoses around.  I'm thinking I may hide the wiring loom behind the shielding too for heat protection and for neatness. Once I get the brake pipes out of the way and trim the shielding around the trans tunnel it will look a lot neater.  I think I will probably powdercoat the shielding black if I end up using it.  The sheeting from Car Builders website is really easy to work with.  will probably use it in other places too.
    • We don’t build cars in stages, that’s a euro thing. Look up maatouks racing on Facebook because if you go to them they’ll guarantee you 1500hp.
    • Found an hour free from the kid & wife, decided that I needed to have a selectable rev limter for skid pans (which I go here and there). Knowing a high RPM on a wet skid pan will just result in too much wheel speed, having a selectable mang mang limiter essentially will limit the wheel speed when I'm bashing 2nd gear   1x can button, 4x limiters: 7000 rpm 7500 rpm 8000 rpm 8600 rpm
