3 years ago i was down the coast in the back of my 180sx i had at the time with my girl friend in the front with her friend driving. A car full of lebos came along side and started hitting on the girls. When the girls told them to piss off they smacked the side of my car full of dents. When we stopped at the next lights 4 got out of their car and came at us with bars. We drove through the red light only for it to happen again at the next set of lights. This time we left them behind. Cops said there was nothing they could do, their car was registered to an old lady.

To be judged that every Leb or Ethnic for that matter a 'Hoon' is outrageous, but dont u find it funny how ACA only happend to pick out lebs and their cars and in the past its been the same thing with gang violence etc. I think theres somewat a push to get people against this culture which i think is wrong , but then agree sometimes that there are alot of loosers out there and there are alot of looser aussies out there.

I agree a little with 2GU, not all lebanese people should be persecuted for the stupidity of a few.

It's the same scenario you guys have just been talking about here, but just within a certain community. The majority are really good, law abaiding people who go about there day to day business without trying to draw attention to themselves, but a few morons ruin for the lot and give them all a bad name.

So whilst you might be a good bloke 2GU, and do as you say and abide by the law (as much as the rest of us here), even you have to agree that even idiots like these go a little too far at times and produce these sorts of reactions from the rest of the public and, more often than not, the police as well.

But lets be honest here, if it wasn't for pathetic wastes of money like A Current Affair coming along and give these fools an outlet for their stupidity then most of them would just go unnoticed.

:werd: there is always two sides to any story, and the media being the media has most likely misrepresented the whole story! and its not just against lebs... its against any hi performance car driver...

i didn't see the aca story, but it sounds like the lebs are in the wrong there... only because they went off at the cops on camera! here is a perfect oppoutunity to show you can be reasonable, to show the community that the sterotype is wrong and to force the police into showing their true colours (if they were on a power trip)... but they didn't... instead they acted like the media portrays them - as hoons....

it would have been nice if both sides could be captured and sent to aca! it'll give them something real to report!

I'm willing to stand up and have my vote counted to a fairer society.

Unfotunately the way our society goes the enthusiast is never going to have a good time unless we stand up and make a name for ourselves, and I dont mean these guys who just did. Need more support than ACA giving the majority a bad name labelling due to action of the minority.
