wallystyles / gR33ddy:  Why don't you get wallystyles to deposit $940.05 (i.e. an extra 5 cents).  Would make it obvious who is depositing...

Lucien.

Edit: help if I got people's nicks right.

Great idea (why didnt I think of that)

hey guys. Thanks for letting me know.

I'll edit your payment confirmation into the first postonce its cleared.

I have received confirmation from 10 buyers now and am awaiting a response from the rest.

It would be great if you guys contacted me to let me know when to expect payment.

:)

so what is going on it doesent look like every one is going to pay does this mean we have to put another 20 dollers in your bank and if we do it will have to be done on monday if every one pays the extra on monday when will we expect the goods

Hey buddy, I was after a commander. I have a PFC that says "FC Pro" and "PFC RB26 9605-0058 on the side. It is for a R33 GTR. I tried my GTST commander but it froze on the first screen. I'm not sure what model it is, Fatz's PFC says GTR33D on the side for his D'jetro version. I think mine is just the pro version....(rev and launch control) Any help on getting the commander to suiyt would be awesome.

BOOSTD, have a look at www.nengun.com they currently have specials on all apexi gear, but they cant do a gooda price as this for the pfc n commander, you should find it down the bottom in the electronics part

i paid on wednesday, why am i not marked as paid?

I paid on thursday, and sent Greddy a pm about why I wasnt marked as paid.

He said he hadn't had a chance to confirm payments in his bank yet.

So hopefully 20 people have already paid and just havent been confirmed on the buyers list :)

Depending on how you pay transfers (between financial institutions) can take upwards of two to three working days (i.e. not including weekends). Payments made after 4PM generally don't enter the sytem until the next day.

If you're really unlucky and deposit on a Friday, after 4PM, on a long weekend, it might not be till Thursday the next week that the payment shows.

Anyway, an update of where we stand would be nice :P

Lucien.

Hey Guys,

The buyers list has been updated with most recent payers

I have 15 confirmed payments. So we still need 5 more payments to complete the 20.

I am trying to organise the first 10 payers to have theirs sent asap.

I have also picked up a couple of interests with one more definite, so now we only need 4 more.

Hopefully we will have enough buyers within the next couple of days.

If anyone is intersted in participating still and can get the money sent within the next couple of days then please PM me for further details.

Honestly guys, If I had the $$$ Id front the money to purchase the remaining units so as to hurry this process up, but unfortunately I dont.

I trust you all understand.

Paul.

:)

Aaaaaaah poopie. This will learn me to visit the forums more often.

Also a shame that you don't take credit card. :D

Even a further shame I haven't got the cash... oh well.

You do realise if you walk in to your bank you can take money out against your credit card? (Check the fees though).

Lucien.

    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
