All these with around -2 camber

Skyline model = R32 GTS-t

Fronts:

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 235/45

Modifications to fit = none really, lip sat a few mm out of the top of the stock guards, although with lower or weaker suspension they may have scraped a bit, also was only just missing the upper control arm, any lower offset or bigger tire and it probably would have started fouling.

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 8.5"

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 215

Modifications to fit = none, sits a few mm in on the stock guards

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 8"

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 235

Modifications to fit = none, sat inside the stock guards

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 8.5"

Wheel offset = +15

Tyre size = 225

Modifications to fit = lip stuck out of stock guard by about 15mm, guard rolled and pulled about 5-10mm

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +16

Tyre size = 225/45, 235/45

Modifications to fit = sits out about 20mm from stock guard, no scrapage with 225's and running the -2 camber, probably would need some flaring if lower, had less camber and with the 235's.

Rear:

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9.5"

Wheel offset = +38

Tyre size = 255/45, 235/45, 225/45

Modifications to fit = lip stuck out of stock guards by about 5mm, with the 255 tires it needed the guard to be rolled, with 235 and 225 none needed

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 235/45

Modifications to fit = lip sat out of stock gaurds by about 5-8mm, rolled guards as there was a bit of scrapage on stock guards

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9.5"

Wheel offset = +35

Tyre size = 235/45

Modifications to fit = as above there was minor scrapage so guards needed rolled.

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +38

Tyre size = 225/45

Modifications to fit = none, sat in the stock guard a few mm

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9.5"

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 255/45

Modifications to fit = sat out from stock guard about 15mm, guard rolling as a minimum needed, maybe a bit of pulling or flaring for comfortable fit

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 10"

Wheel offset = +22

Tyre size = 255/45

Modifications to fit = sat out about 30mm from stock guard, would need at least some flaring.

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +16

Tyre size = 215/45, 235/45

Modifications to fit = sits out about 25mm from stock guard, snuck under the 215/45's under with just a roll and running the -2 camber, would need at least some flaring with lower camber and 235's.

a few more but that'll do for now.

Have a bit of a question, looking at getting some 9.5' 17's for the rear and 8.5 17's for the front. Bothe with a + offset of 40

Now from this thread the rears and fronts should be ok offset wise. But when I measured the rear of the car yesterday, it looks like the rears will be something like .3cm to .5cm away from the hicas control arm, if I saw it correctly. Has anyone fitted 17's which are 9.5' wide on a 32 with hicas with that particular offset and had any issues?

Or nisskid did you have any issues? since it looks like you had 9.5's with a 38 offset on your 4dr 32. Did it have hicas?

+40 on a 17x8.5" wheel will not fit on the front, the closest ive got my front wheel to the upper control arm was 17x9" +30which was only a few mm away from touching the upper control arm, which is about the equivalent (inner clearance wise) of a 17x8.5 +36. now u could try but id say u will foul on the upper control arm, especially if u run anything above a 225/45 on it.

on the rear ur tie rod becomes the issue, and it will start to foul on a 17" wheel at around 9.5" +40 depending on design and a few other things. closest ive got to the tie rod was my 9.5 +38's which were only a few mm away from fouling on it. btw when i say tie rod im talking about what u were referring to as the HICAS.

if u want to run a 17x9.5 on the rear ur best bet is with going for a offset around +35, this will mean u might have to roll ur guards, but its better than it fouling on the tie rod. as for the front ull need to go for around a +35 offset if u want to run 17x8.5's on the front, personally id go for a +30 offset as it fills out the guard nicer and most likely still wont rub on ur gaurds (depending on ride height, camber, tire tread/profile etc etc)

Does anyone have Koya Drift Teks on their R34 or even R33.

I'm looking at 17x8 (front) +30 & 17x9 +35 (rear)..

Will these fit and also I'm a bit worried about clearing the calipers too..

are u sure its 17x8 +30? pretty sure drift teks only came in a 17x8 +34. anyways, in relation to ur guards u wont have any issues, rears will come up and sit near the guards but u shouldnt have any scrubbing issues, the fronts will sit in a fair way. as far as brake clearance the drift teks use a design which is usually pretty good for clearing big brakes, i know they clear r32 gts-t m-spec brakes which i believe are pretty similar to r33 brakes, also i think i remember someone running them on their GTR which didnt use spacers i believe.

Yeah, I thought they only came in +34 too, but I'm thinking now they might come in a couple of different offsets cause another friend has +38 on either 8" or 9" (can't remember which one..)

anyway, the guy I'm buying them off is gonna put them on right then and there and if there's any issues I get a refund so hopefully should be all good..

If an R34 GTR was slightly lowered would 19x10, offset+15, Rays RE30 (L2 type) rims with 275/30 tyres fit without any rolling/lipping needed to the guards? Or would some minor work need to be done?

Im having alot of issues with wheel choice!

Iv come down to a set of 17x8 and 17x9 Wedsport SA-90's for my R33 S2 25-t.

They dont come in alot of offsets and i was wondering if anyone could advise me on what to get?

I was thinking +35 for the rear, and +25 for the front.. does anyone know if this will actually work?

Would i be better off going for +35 on the front too or whaaa?

in 9" you can only get +35 and +20.. so limited for choice there!

and 8" you can get +25, +35 and +42.. hmmm

Can some1 pls tell me the standard offset for my R32 GTS (non turbo, 1989, 4 stud):

the tyres i currently have on it are 205/60 R15 and im hoping to go 235/40 R18

but i need to know my offset so i can confirm they will fit & not waste my time, thanks in advance.

just an FYI i really dislike the fact they chose 4 stud when designing this model of skyline, pain in the friggin ass!!!

Fit like a dream on my 32GTR with slightly lowered suspension, no guard rolling was done and no rubbing at full lock either.

Rims = 5Zigen Pro Racer GN+ (Try to stay away from 21mm lugs, you will scratch the inside of the rim :ermm: )

Wheel diameter = 18"

Wheel width = 9.5"

Wheel offset = +22

Tyre size = 245/40 (255's will fit)

Thats all round as well.

Hey guys, are any of you real familiar with the ER34 GTT 2 door wheel specs?

I'm looking to buy the Racing Hart CXR's..

Front 19 x 8.5 +35 (I want them streched so I'm guessing 225's?)

Rear 19 x 9.5 +38 (same as above so I'm guessing 255's?)

Is it possible to go 10 or 10.5 on the rear?

I have no idea what else needs to be done so far as lowering and/or rolling as well.

Standard suspension as far as I know.

R34GTR Wheel:

Wheel diameter = 18"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +30?

Tyre size = 265/35/18 all round

Does not rub at front with 265s on full lock but I removed the plastic card crap that stops mud/rocks flinging forward towards the front bar. The rear tyres are hitting the guard over dips in the road.. so I am going to roll the guards :P

the question is, do u really need to go 10 or 10.5? depends what tire u want to run, but theres no point trying to fit a bigger wheel under if ur not going to use the extra width. u should be able to get a 10" wheel under, and probably a 10.5" but unfortunately i dont know what the inner clearance is like for the 34 gtt, to fit a 10.5" where u wanted the 9.5's to sit ur probably going to go up near the +50 offset mark, or if ur willing to give ur guards a roll and stretch the tire a bit u could go for a +35ish offset, either way ur not going to have much inner clearance for anything that u might knock under there.

standard offset is around +45 i beleive and the width is around 6"

if u wanted to go 235 u should go at least a +30 offset imo, otherwise ur pushing it close to the upper control arm in the 32.

Use this to enter the offset and width of you current wheels, then input offsets of wheels you will like to buy and it'll tell you how far it'll stick out compared to your old rims, and how much clearance you'll have with the strut housing.

hi everybody,

i need great help here,i recently bought some wheels off Z33 and trying to fit them to a r33 series II,ive heard that wheels are 350z touring wheels.i tried to fit them into my car and it was ok when its on the jack and when i droped the jack the uper arm(gusess technically right) touches the tyre and cant roll the tyre.i havent lowered the car either.heard that this is something do with camber.ill mention my cars and tyre details below please advise me regarding this

the dimensions are:

Size: 18x8.0

Offset: +30mm

According to another post on this forum, stock wheels on 33GTST are:

Size: 16x6.5

Offset: +40mm

Finally, according to the link you posted, based on these dimensions:

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 9mm LESS

The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 29mm

    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
    • When I said "wiring diagram", I meant the car's wiring diagram. You need to understand how and when 12V appears on certain wires/terminals, when 0V is allowed to appear on certain wires/terminals (which is the difference between supply side switching, and earth side switching), for the way that the car is supposed to work without the immobiliser. Then you start looking for those voltages in the appropriate places at the appropriate times (ie, relay terminals, ECU terminals, fuel pump terminals, at different ignition switch positions, and at times such as "immediately after switching to ON" and "say, 5-10s after switching to ON". You will find that you are not getting what you need when and where you need it, and because you understand what you need and when, from working through the wiring diagram, you can then likely work out why you're not getting it. And that will lead you to the mess that has been made of the associated wires around the immobiliser. But seriously, there is no way that we will be able to find or lead you to the fault from here. You will have to do it at the car, because it will be something f**ked up, and there are a near infinite number of ways for it to be f**ked up. The wiring diagram will give you wire colours and pin numbers and so you can do continuity testing and voltage/time probing and start to work out what is right and what is wrong. I can only close my eyes and imagine a rat's nest of wiring under the dash. You can actually see and touch it.

Input 1 = 2.98V Output 1 = 50C Input 2 = 0.407V Output 2 = 150C (0.407-2.98) / (150-50) -2.573/100 = -0.02573 2.98/-0.02573 + 47.045 = 50 So the corresponding formula should be: (Input / -0.02573) + 47.045 = Output.   If someone can confirm my math it'd be great. Supposedly you can pick any two pairs of the data to make this formula.
