Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines

Recommended Posts

are all you guys that roll/flare your guards getting cracks in your paint or is it all good?

I have never seen a roll job that hasnt had to be painted, but, if its just a very mild roll you may be able to get away with it.

i had mine rolled and flared about 10mm and i only got a tiny little bit of cracking in the guard, i know plenty of people that have had there gaurds rolled 20+mm and had no paint cracking. It all depends on ya paint condition and the experience of the flarer!

Wheel width = 8.5 & 9

Wheel offset = +42

Tyre size = 245/35/18; 265/30/18

Modifications to fit = Rolled guards, if you want it looking right height wise.

Rear -

Skyline model = R32 GT-R

Front -

Wheel type - Blitz 10 spoke (No idea what they are called)

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +22

Tyre size = 255/40/17 RE55's

Modifications to fit = Nil

Rear -

Wheel type - Blitz 10 spoke (No idea what they are called)

Wheel diameter = 17"

Wheel width = 9"

Wheel offset = +22

Tyre size =255/40/17 RE55's

Modifications to fit = Rolled guards.

Question: I want to upgrade to an 18" rim, but am unsure as to whether a 9" or a 9.5" would be more appropriate & which tyre they would go with. Tyre selection is either245/40/18 or 265/35/18.

So choice is 1 of three.

1 9 inch rim with 245 bag tyre.

2 9.5 inch rim with 245 bag tyre.

3 9.5 inch rim with 265 bag tyre.

Will the last of these fit given my 255's are marginal as best.

Rims;

17" URAS NS-01

Skyline model = R32 Gtst

Wheel diameter = 17

Wheel width = 8

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 235/45/r17

Modifications to fit =

- Scrubbing on lowered (340mm) on the front

- Removing inner guard lining fixes some scrubbing

- Still scrubs on lip, might have to roll

- Decided to put on some 225/45's to see if they will not scrub

Skyline model = R32 Gtst

Wheel diameter = 17

Wheel width = 9

Wheel offset = +30

Tyre size = 235/45/r17

Modifications to fit = Dont seem to have any problems with my lowered height (340mm) but may cause scrubbing later

Hi Guys

I was offered a set of SSR Professor SP1, wonder does it fit a 34GTT? Anyone know how heavy this rims compare to the original 34GTR OEM rims also?

Size : Front 19"x8.5JJ+35 PCD114.3/5

Rear 19"x9.5JJ+43 PCD114.3/5

yeap they will fit. not sure what they weight but im guessing between 6-8kg per rim (guess they will be the same if not similar to the r34 gtr rim)

Hate to tell you buddy, but a 225 on a 8" rims won't be even CLOSE to being stretched, it will still be bulging. I've got a 205/50 on my 16x8 Volk rim and it barely looks stretched. If you put a 215 on the rear rims you won't need to flare the guards, maybe just a light roll

Just copy and fill in the table;

Skyline model = R32 GTS4

Wheel diameter = 20

Wheel width = 8.5

Wheel offset = ????

Tyre size = f/225,r/245

Modifications to fit = none atm maybe have to roll rear guards a little bit

IMO the 225/45 will sit better than the 235/45 I have on my 17's as they have large lips so it helps to give a more stretched appearance, with lots of Dish on a +12 rim it will give a bit of extra camber and clearance inside the guard!

I'm not looking for super stretch with 215's, just enough to give more definition to my rims!
