Goes in to get some suspension fixes next week (replacement of worn bits mostly) and a wheel alignment so not sure if he'll keep things this way but it was 1 degree neg on the front. So may change.

Very happy with how it looks, the 10.5s finally fill the guards up! Not missing my little 9s!!

Running -2.5 in the old setup.

New setup running 17x9.5+18 with a 245/40, with probably about -1 degree... Very grippy!!!!

Thanks for the info Billy. BTW love the feature you had on Stance Nation a few months ago. Thumbs up to you dude!

Anyone fitted 18 x 10 + 15 on there 32 gtr? any photos? modifications required?

was thinking of putting 255's or do you guys reckon definately 265's.

Cheers,

Thanks

i just fitted 19x10 +15 on my 32 gtr... 245 tyres tho otherwise im sure there would be some major turn and scrub issues on the front. i am about to roll the rear cause it hits atm (car is quite low)

also about 2° degs of camber on the front & about 1.5° on the rear...

255 or 265 wont be much stretch at all as a 265 is recommended for a 10 from memory.

i had a 265/35 on a 10 was zero stretch

i was thinking tyre stretch may help with the guard, may not need rolling, although i do like the idea of running wider tyres

i run 265's on my 34gtr rims, they sit perfect and no scrub/rubbing at all (rear guards are not rolled)

maybe depending on how low it sits too would determine what size tyre to run on a 10" wide wheel?

  • 2 weeks later...

hey guys though id ask my question here then make a new thread.

Just wanting to know what my chances are of getting some 17x9 - 3 (225/45) & 17x10.5-17 (235/45) on a 33 gtst

i know more then likely they wont fit but thought id ask anyway.

Thanks

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
