Hello

[Attn: Melbourne Skyline Drivers]

I am after two r34's and two r33's for our formal.

Two R34's will be in the middle with the r33's at the front and back.

The four cars will be transporting 2 people each.

The formal will be on November 18th and the location is 81 bay street, brighton. More information will be provided closer to the date.

We are willing to pay:

$60 for each R34

$40 for each R33

$60 for each R33 GTR

$60-$100 for Blue R34 GTR

The 8 of us will meet up at Ferntree Gully. The exact position is still pending.

The 4 cars will have to drop us off and no return drive is necessary.

If possible we would like to prefer reliable drivers which have a reasonable reputation on this forum, after all we do not want to be dropped off in the country...

Drivers must also have a Full Victorian license due to safety reasons.

Please post a picture of your car so we can decide on the colour scheme for the 4 cars.

Thank you

Regards

Patrick

Stop being too sexes man, what about R32 :D ? Hehe only kidding just a question though, if 34's are being use for transporting.........is it chicks or guy? If it is chicks then i'll borrow me mate yellow R34 and do it for only $30 returned :) .

The amount of people and gender status is still pending as we may decide to have 8 people, (2 people per car for 4 cars). Probably my mates would be more interested in having a ride in the lines than the girls in their limo's.

if paul is doing it ill join the fun i have a an r33 packing a punch contact me on 0421830517 willing to do just for the fule we use so contact me

Thank you all for the quick replies.

Due to Leewah's interest in the formal run we have made some alterations to the run.

We are willing to pay $60 each for four cars.

We would like:

r34 turbo

r33 GTR (Leewah)

r33 GTR

r34 turbo

As we are still waiting for more replies the names and car's may change due to availability. So all R33 GTST's do not worry, we still love your cars and we may still need you ;)

Hope to make this a memorable experience for all :)

Regards

Patrick

    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
