is it possible to get slightly lower springs that 350mm?

I'm after around 330mm - 335mm

The Group Buy Bilsteins have additional circlip grooves, so you can select the height you want.

:( cheers ;)

PS. 330 mm is too low for good handling and ride comfort

mmmm, i was only looking at the springs though, not the shocks as i am happy with my 'gabs' but it sits too low.

I got the front and rear springs and struts.

Excellant handling now - will get out to mallala eventually to really test them

only thing on my car the circlips had to be moved right to the top of the strut to get the height to 350 front - SK is there anything that can be changed - old rubber bits used at top of strut that would affect this

The top rubbers are worth around 10 mm. The most common issue is excessive camber, what sort of camber is it running, front and rear.

:whistling: cheers

When you put the Whiteline springs in using GAB shocks you SHOULD end up at around 345 mm front and 340 mm rear. Every car is different though. That wil settle around 5 mm after 1,000ks or so.

:D cheers :D

cool, how much will shipping be to adelaide for a set of the springs?

Also my rear gab shocks are from a 180, will that make a difference to the final ride height in my 32?

How long is this group buy open for? I need to save some money :)

There are still a few sets of R32GTST Bilsteins left, so a month, maybe 2.

:) Cheers :O

hi SK

this may have been asked before so maybe you or some one can point me in the right direction.

in your first post you say that the stabilizer bars have 2 holes for even more adjustment. how much better are these 2 extra holes? i am setting my car up for drift and these are the next thing on the list so am wondering just how firm you can get these? ive also seen on the whiteline site that they have an adj extra heavy deuty bar (i think may not be adjustable) so can you get these aswell or would the ones that you have in your group buy offer the same stiffness?

also there is a group of my mates that want just 1 or 2 things like me so could we put one order together so we can get the extra 5% discount?

thanks damo

    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
