Lets put some facts down....

If the fuel were burning then you would have a black rear bar (like me) so if you arent spewing black smoke from the tail then it must be leaking.

Where could it be leaking:

* Hole in tank

* Hole in a pressured line

* Over flow not connected back to tank

* Leaking injectors

You should be able to smell fuel tho on all of these situations....

Well, here's a thought.

I drank about 60 litres of fuel racing at Winton.

I did 24 timed laps, total of about 50 klms.

let's call it 1 litre per kilometer. BUT I was at WOT most of the time.

Maybe the drive was a little spirited?

hey dude check ur fuel purge tank n make sure all the hoses n shit aint blocked n stuff. my mate had a 180 and it popped flames like crazy idled rought n the cause was all the vacume lines were f**ked and pluged (some were also blocked by screws) in everywhere. he used 1/4 of a tank going about 25 km's... just a thought tho

Hey Dude Similar Thing Happen To Me But it werent that extreme

when i first got me car was getting round 200ks full tank

was getting strong feul smell in car but no smell from outside

found out the mechanic accidentally busted my feul breather hose when he was modding the feul filler valve

when filling up check the little rubber pipe next to the big feul tank filler pipe

good luck

Skyline-man, where are you...

I'v heard that you can chew soap and use it to plug up fuel tank punctures. Of course, doing that anywhere but the nullabor plain is, well, distateful...

find where the fuel is leaking from. This includes coming out the fuel cap. Happened to me all the time in my old magna (though your cap should be better).

I wanna know...

:)

lol

as above - hole in fuel tank, or your gauge is seriously screwed.

If you were blowing out enough fuel to consume 70L/100 in a reasonably stock gts-t, then im sure you would notice it out the back. your rear window would be tinted ;)

If the gauge is screwed then it still wouldnt explain why he has to fill his tank UP to full!!

Or havent you looked into this possibility?? Not u,him.

You have 10,000cc injectors.

    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG is has not responded to my emails so far after purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
