I have for sale an LS1 swap kit for an R34 Skyline. I originally bought it for my 25GT as an alternative to buying a turbo model but unfortunately the kit outlived the car and I've since moved on to a Silvia so have no need for this stuff any more. The kit is top-notch quality made by Fueled Racing in Phoenix, Arizona, guys did an absolutely amazing job putting this thing together. Comes with everything you'd reasonably need to fit an LS1, including headers, engine mounts, custom oil pan, transmission mounts and a single-piece drive shaft, as well as a few other odds and ends. The kit makes use of an S-chassis k-frame for better oil pan clearance and is backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission. Have a tonne of emails from the guys at Fueled detailing the ins and outs of the kit that can be provided if you need but the kit is mostly self-explanatory,what you see is what you get. Unsure as to whether the kit can be utilised in other vehicles, might fit an R33 or Stagea if you're lucky but buy at your own risk. Headers should in theory bolt up to most LS models but can't confirm this.
I'm located in Melbourne, Victoria, local pick-up is preferred but can probably organise shipping at buyer's expense. Chasing $3800 but am open to negotiation, would rather not split up the kit if I can help it but hit me up and we can work something out.
Had a look through the forums and can't seem to find an answer.
Recent swapped my Rb25det + gear box into a new shell, got it all running fine but the gear box won't hold the uneven gears (1,3&5) I can't hold the shifter in the gear and it drives fine but as soon as I let go of the shifter it pops straight out.
Anyone had a similar issue?
Hey, alright so I can't seem to find any help on this issue anyway so I thought I'd ask here.
I have a aftermarket headunit (Kenwood ddx4) in my skyline r34. When I chose the radio mode on the headunit all I get is static.
I've heard it's because it's from Japan so the frequencys or something are different...Im honestly not sure why it's not working.
Is there a way to fix this so I can listen to radio channels ??
Just my first post here. Greetings from Melbourne where it's the coldest its been in a couple of years
I picked up a 2007 AUDI S5 4.2ltr V8 a few months ago and have been enjoying it quite well. There have been the few European car quirks here and there but it hasn't really reduced the love I have for the car any bit. The reason I joined the forum was to find out some DIY tips specially in AUDIO since I plan on upgrading the Stock B&O system which has had its better days over the past 13 years. I've done a few DIYs myself over the time I've had this (Not to mention the projects I did with my previous 2004 - A3 1.6 ltr) and will make up a few posts as I go along.
I'll post a few pics of the S5 below
