  7. Another thread dig, I've nearly finished my conversion (after starting it in 2014 lol) of R33 subframe into my R32 and I'm struggling for info about the rear LCA inner bushes. There was a mention earlier that washers are required but shouldn't I be able to get R33 bushes to suit an R33 subframe? The difference I've measured for the width of the rear LCA inner bushes: R32-45mm, R33-50mm. I've even asked about aftermarket R33 rear LCA's and they all tell me that they're 45mm! Any help is appreciated. See the pics of R32 vs R33.

  13. Wow. Yeah it has been a long time since an update in this thread. It's been laid up for a while. Sitting on stands and collecting dust. The last 2 years of my life has been a case of home renovations and getting married. The 32 went on the back burner. After Campbell crashed it in June 2013 the only event it did was SAU Nationals in SA. I actually won the motorsport side of the event which I was pretty happy with. Only change to the car was a new front bar and diffuser. I also fitted an Accusump oil accumulator under the dash to fix oil surge problems. Despite having a winged and baffled sump it still needed it. After that event, my mate grabbed the diff for his car and it's not moved at all since. Currently the rear subframe is out of it ready for an R33 subframe and GTR diff and shafts. Hoping to get it ready for SAU nats this year and I need to get back to PI coz I haven't had a decent crack at it in it's current form. I've attached some pics from 2013 SAU nats at Mallala and Collingrove hill climb. Quite proud of the time I did at Mallala considering it was my first time. 1:14.63. Don't know of any other 2wd skylines that have done a time faster than that.
  14. Yeah good point. While we're at it. READ THE SUPP REGS!!! - All vehicles must be equipped with a minimum 900gram fire extinguisher securely mounted inside the vehicle with a metal bracket. Extinguishers must comply with the Australian Standard – AS 1841 and not be more than five years old Don't rock up with a bracket secured by cable ties. It must be SECURE! If it's not, you will not be able to drive until it's fixed up. There is a tutorial somewhere that gives instructions if you're not sure. Someone post up the link??
  15. I was in BC and Alberta on my honeymoon in April and I must say, I was a little un-impressed the the import scene, probably due to the rules and RHD cars. I did see an awesome RS4 Stagea on Robson st though. What's the go with import taxes etc there. Is it easy to do?
