  1. Hey guys, Could someone help me out please - I'm in desperate need of a pink slip for my R32 GTS-T. My only posssible defects are an exposed pod filter and aftermarket HIDs. I had my car booked in to a guy this morning but he knocked me back 'cause of the pod. Can anyone please help me out? Preferably Sydney Inner West (I'm in Haberfield) - I'd REALLY appreciate the help, especially if someone could help me ASAP. Thanks in advance guys! Josh.
  2. Ok cheers for the help guys.
  3. I've been told 14psi is the absolute max for stock injectors, is this true?
  4. But that's the problem, no matter what the tune is I'm fearing that the wastegate is physically set too high (20psi I found out). No matter how good the tuner is isn't 20psi too high?
  5. Hey guys, got a question, I've just replaced the turbo on my RB25 with an eBay special (which actually looks the goods btw and is working fine). However, the internal wastegate on the turbo is set too high, I ran my car to 16psi before I backed off the throttle for fear of blowing something. My question is, hypothetically, what is the max boost I can run with stock injectors and FPR, but I have a gtr pump, intercooler and nistune ecu? I'd appreciate the advice. Wanna know what I can do before buying another wastegate or modding this one.
  6. Hey guys, I'm going to be replacing the turbo on my RB25, and was wondering if I could use the stock intake pipe even though the new turbo has a 3in inlet? It's my understanding that the stock turbo's inlet is 2.5in, yeah? I was thinking of using a 3" > 2.5" coupler directly on the turbo, then using a small piece of 2.5" s/steel pipe to connect that coupler to the stock intake pipe. Thoughts? Before anyone says it, I know I should just replace the intake with a 3" intake, especially if said intake was metal. However, I'm working to a VERY strict budget and just need to know if this will work (until I can afford to do it properly) and if there would be any issues. Thanks in advance.
  7. Is there any turbo I could use that wouldn't require modification? Is the porting necessary? Wht would happen if I didn't port it?
  8. Hey, what turbo from this list would you suggest for a basically stock RB25 with Nistune, 550cc injectors and GTR pump? On a stock manifold. Not after anything crazy, it's just for street use and my stock turbo is dying. Just want something that will give me the most from my simple upgrades Cheers
  9. After the sound got worse I eventually found the problem - broken stud where the dump bolts to the turbo, letting a heap of exhaust through the gap. Now I have a worse situation than a boost leak, the stud is broken inside of the turbo exhaust housing and I need some way to get it out...Preferably without removing the turbo >_>
  10. Tightened up pretty much all hoses, problem still exists. Do you think this could have anything to do with a malfunctioning BOV? I'm probably way off but whatever... Anyone?
  11. Hey guys, I have a strange issue with my RB25DET. It seems to have a weird fluttering/wooshing sound when coming on boost, a lot louder than normal. It seems to build and hold boost ok, maybe a little laggier than usual. I'm thinking maybe a boost leak, but here's the spanner in the works: the weird wooshing sound disappears during medium-hard left turns?? How weird is that? Does anyone know what could cause this issue and why it disappears during left turns only??? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  12. Guys, just wanted to throw this HID kit out there: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/280831816424?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Bought it for less than $35 delivered! I've had them installed in my car for just over a week now and they've been great. They're a direct fit (H3C) into an R32 GTST, not sure about others. Highly recommend this kit for the money though!
  13. Hey guys, First time poster, so let me do the quickest intro ever and say I'm Josh, 24, from Western Sydney, just bought my first Skyline (an R32 GTST), previously a 300zx guy... Anyway, to the point, I was wondering if I could get some help/advice. I'm thinking that my Skyline may have a problem with the HICAS or something else steering-related. My steering wheel will be perfectly straight when driving at low speeds, say <50km/h. However, once I go a bit past this, the steering wheel will start to turn counter-clockwise. In other words, instead of the 12 o'clock position on the wheel being at 12 o'clock, it has now shifted to the 11, or even 10 o'clock position (whilst still going straight ahead). This is really uncomfortable and is quite a nuisance, especially when accelerating hard. Surely it's not normal? Can someone please give me some advice on what I should do? Will HICAS elimination fix this? Thanks in advance.
