  1. I've had a similar issue and I have rebuilt the diff, the clunk is still there. It is quieter or non-existent if I rev a little (very little) while releasing the clutch when going up gears... Not 100% sure if its the same issue your describing.
  2. If it didn't come with your car I'd think twice before doing that. I had one that came with the car, was not that good in terms of tune and I did sell it to a person with similar mods for a cheap price While the tune *may* be fine for your car it might not be, I have not heard of someone having an issue with a MINES ECU but I would be testing it carefully on the dyno...
  3. http://trafficlaw.com.au/speeding.fines.html refer to "Q. If I am pulled over are the police obliged to show me the speed reading on a radar/laser or other detection device?" . The answer is no, they don't have to show you
  4. I'm in, but I usually finish work at 7PM which is about 15mins drive away, I'll try to finish early but probably won't be there until after 7PM Hopefully you guys will be easy to spot in there Thanks, Gareth
  5. I would like to do this next oil change, but I hardly do any km so its not worth doing yet I cannot recall what the cheap website was that was $30 or similar for the UOA.
  6. Or is it one of your wives ?
  7. In Vic the 1 intake modification rule applies...so not you can't do both front mount and pods on a Skyline
  8. One of the threads I was reading, either the UK article or the SkylinesDownunder (all linked off the articles I have) was using some kind of device to test it on a bench, but I believe that was just testing what the speedo would show... Yes, I did compare to the PowerFC hand controller, the PowerFC was closer afterwards, but this modification I mentioned was for changing the dash. Sorry
  9. Good article that one! lol Duncan I've linked them all together, but one of the links will point you to: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/111435-speedo-c...ed-r33-gtr.html . The original uses a jaycar adjuster. Also feel free to try the other method
  10. Your boxing? Then you should be squatting. What benefit do the bicep curls provide to your boxing? Military pressing or push pressing for shoulder strength doesn't mess up your shoulders if your using correct form.
  11. Plateau's like that are most likely how he is training himself. I was stuck around 90kg or so until I found a good program, I now bench upto 117.5, I think I got a 120kg bench once . I'm 80kg now.
  12. Join SAU Vic then you can access the link Interested, will have to confirm....
  13. Jesse Streeter might be able to help as well, he offers low premiums. Shipping can cost quite a lot, from memory I paid $200 (or more) for 4 rims @ 7.4kg/rim, which is quite cheap Jesse charged very little, I cannot remember his actual fee http://www.jessestreeter.com/ I did not buy of yahoo auction as it was cheaper to buy from the manufacturer for the parts I wanted...
  14. Ebay is probably not the best place for tyres I bought off option1garage last time, shipping wasn't too expensive and cheap prices. Otherwise there will be plenty of local tyre shop's in your state..
  15. PTC is a great gym, http://ptcfrankston.com/ Unfortunately I work long hours during the week but I'm down there most Satuday's. Markos is over in the USA this week but will be back very shortly, the gym is still open. $20 / session is the standard rate, on Saturdays its open from 10AM To 2PM, there is no real structure for a Saturday session and you stay as long as you want.
  16. Red light cameras go off the sensors so they can tell which lane caused the flash. If the red light camera is suspected to have made a mistake, anyone on that film will not be fined, or at least that's what Tenix advises
  17. ?! The 255/40/17 tryres I bought are recommended for an 8-9inch rim, not a 9.5. 265mm are normally recommended for 9.5" 245/45 is probably not recommended by tyre manufacturers for a 9.5" rim.

  19. On a 2 lane road without a median strip they might work, I didn't know that though. But then again I don't speed
  20. Fixed speed cameras - they are not on the whereis maps from what I know the GPS manufacturers do custom versions of where they are located *or* you can download free versions Speed limits, the data is not accurate, the government said it would get fixed over the next 2 years, so expect incorrect speed limits all over the place.
  21. Sounds like your talking about the roof-mounted digital cameras. The ones on the bull bar are designed to do traffic going one way, not sure how many lanes.
  22. I preferred the figure 8 layout personally
  23. Have you tried PM'ing some forum sponsors like Hypergear for a price? I did notice the -9 does have a premium on it
  24. 40K? You could buy a new car for that Always use a reputable workshop listed on in the SAU sticky What kind of power are you making now? Have you had the full tune done?
  25. I was way off time. I think around 75 and 82seconds. That said I still had fun, and I was happy to not be one of the 3 cars who did get damaged. Only one looked fairly serious. And that car that got unlucky and hit by a flying marquee
