  1. Been here before but lets list new and previous mods 1992 R32 GTR Previous mods already done about 345kw due to 600cc Nismo Injectors. Tomei Pon Cams type b Valve springs/guides etc etc Port n polish Head studs gasket Tomei pistons Tomei Rods R34 stock crank -5 twin turbos Dump pipes 3.5" exhaust Big sump Tomei oil pump HKS F-con pro v (gone now) New mods added Ross trigger kit Link g4+ Frenchys fuel pump hanger 1x 460LPH E85 pump (for now) -8an lines Aeroflow Rail ID 1050x's Aeromotive FPR Ran up 445kw at the wheels on 98....now with big increases to the cruve in power delivery - but I now no longer have hesitation on the motorway going on and off throttle. Drivability is a major increase. almost 24psi of boost. Just need a G35-900 and second pump and 1700cc injectors
  2. Looks like a cool kit. Semi interested as my link is been tuned in 2 weeks.
  3. Yeah +1. Just setup a new fuel pressure sensor on the FPR going to Link g4+ on my GTR. Link can do all of the features the upper Haltech's can as far as I know. All awesome tech.
  4. Yeh but surely the tuner would figure that out pretty quickly.
  5. What size is that Nismo exhaust? Surely its to much back pressure somewhere.
  6. Sorry to hijack That is what I have done this week full trigger setup and link g4+ with new e85 compat fuel system. Im no sure what to expect now I thought id just get more power haha.
  7. Is it that much of a difference? Just waiting for my injectors plugs to be wired up for my 1050x's and tune to be done soon.
  8. Spend the money on a link and look after your car. Youll still get some naughty 2 step without the damage and the Power FC is very capable but very old. I just replaced my HKS F-con V Pro so I could have modern features like new trigger setup and E85. Was gutting to do but needed.
  9. Anyone brought a 30-770 yet? Want to see some results haha.
  10. Now can someone please install one on a built rb26 with tomei pon cams and upload the results asap? Much appreciated
  11. Wicked - I am keeping in the back of my mind that the g30-770 comes out soonish. But that wont make huge power over the -5's I should just get a good response upgrade. Cool thanks - it confirms what my supplier says.
  12. Team. Going in for a removal of my HKS F-con ProV in favour of a new Link g4+. New crank and cam trigger setup by ross with 12T balancer as well My -5 turbos and forged engine stay as is but my fuel system is getting an upgrade. Going single Walbro big 460LPH E85 pump up from my Nismo 260 or whatever Also going in is a -8 feed and -6 return to a Aeromotive A1000 Gen2 FPR and new twin entry fuel rail. So my question 1 is. My injector supplier in NZ has said to go ID 1050x's as that will flow up to 1200hp on 98 but im worried with E85 I might run out of fuel. His calculations reckon at 7000rpm the injectors will be at 80% on E85. Obviously the 1050x's are way cheaper than the 1350x's but I really dont want to have fuel issues and regret tuning again on 1050x's so what do people reckon? 2nd question is. With the dual entry rail do I just run a Y splitter from the feed line into the fuel rail will this be fine on that 1 pump? Obviously not looking for game changing power with -5's. Many Thanks.
  13. I would hate to see the invoice from Nismo. But well worth the increase in capital gains on a stock Z-Tune.
  14. Heard about this project on 1320's YT channel. Awesome to see it restored. Nismo doing good work. Insane.
  15. Yeh its interesting. I am in the process of getting rid of my HKS F-con rubbish in favour of a Link g4+ and upgrading my trigger system and fuel system at the same time. Once done the G30-770 be on the next list to replace the -5's. So sooner they come out the better so someone else test for me.
  16. That is exactly what I am after. Real world experience. Mine are current Super Streets - but been in there longer than I have had the car (10 odd years). Thanks heaps.
  17. Has anyone been using the MCA Street Ultimate's? Any reviews on street use? I know the spring rates are "stiff" at 10kg front 6kg rear but I understand the MCA valving is fantastic which makes the difference. In NZ they are double the price of Tein Flex Z's but wondering if its worth the money. No new reviews online for 2019 latest suspension from MCA. Just looking for latest info. They are new to NZ (supply locally) and now that I have sus'ed my brakes its time to look at my aging 10+ year old Teins.
  18. yes just got braided lines now. will find those pads and the discs I got lined up. Cheers all Also - how do 245 tyres feel on the 16's are they to big/ballooned?
  19. That would be a good upgrade on my -5's...waiting patiently.
  20. R35 coils wont work as far as I was told on stock ECU. Like above the dwell settings need to be changed.
  21. Hey - I would look at some old posts but since its 2019 time has moved on so I want to get an up to date opinion. I am keeping the stock non-Brembo callipers as I use the stock 16" wheels but I need to replace my current pads. A company in NZ has recommended some new DBA pads and slotted rotors as an upgrade of the stuff that is in there. I know some old articles had issues with cracking but then I heard the new stuff doesnt crack. Anyone used it lately and what do people recommend now? Thanks guys.
  22. What an awesome build. Keeping an eye on it and good luck. Nissan making most of the parts required now days.
  23. no wideband. Yeah the HKS is going - that is why I have a Link G4+ in the safe waiting to go in. Just waiting for my trigger kit.
  24. Yeh thats interesting as I did change a couple of old fuel hoses as they were not in very good condition. Ok retune sooner rather than later.
  25. Ah true - why would it have got worse though? I have a link G4+ in my safe just waiting to get my new trigger kit so once thats in it might fix it.
