Don't slap me around here but I'm running NS2R's by Nankang. Semi Slicks very good in the dry and in the wet I had traction in 1st my old Bridgestone R002's didn't. Not saying the best tyre but pretty good so far. Have 1000km on them but that's first review.

Rear brake light keeps blowing Hey, I am chasing abit of a gremlin. My right rear brake light (one close to the middle) keeps blowing everytime I replace the bulb. Nothing else is an issue but this one light not sure what can be causing it as its only drawing 12v. Any ideas? Thanks.

BP 98 and 21 PSI was 373KW atw. But I can hear a leak so not sure what it was at the time - I think it is my BOV so looking to replace and run up on dyno again to make sure all is well.

R32 GTR Forged 2.6L Garret -5's HKS F-Con V Tomei Cams Type B (Pon) All the normal stuff - dump pipes/exhaust etc. Suspected Leaking BOV as I can here something leaking. 11.9 @ 116mph with me hitting the rev limiter in 2nd (oops). Time to replace BOV and run again!

R33 GTR Gearbox internals Hello, My engine builder has come up with a suggestion for me with my gearbox problems. To find a R33 GTR box and put its internals in the R32 case (cannot use R33 case and sensors etc are different). He said it would be a much better box for my power level which is 375kw atw's. Since I have already rebuilt my 32 box once before I'm looking for a better solution without spending 10k. Anyone done this?

CC Brakes Upgrade Hey, I watched one of the new Motive DVD vids and they used a CC Brakes (aus) big brake kit. It seems to be pretty good with good stopping distance and performance even when not in race conditions. Anyone been using these on any GTR's? Worth it? Looking to upgrade stock brakes on my R32 GTR (pre Brembo). Thanks

R32 4th gear pop out Ahhh gearbox up for its second rebuild. Rebuilt the standard box when car was 206kw but now its 380kw atw I have had 4th gear popping out while cruising. I have done the basics. Replace shifter and bushes in it but no luck. So I am looking at my second rebuild on it. I was thinking of using PPG 1st-4th Helical gear set (rated 800HP) but couldn't find many using this on the street. Anyone got any tips about this as a street box mainly (track maybe sometimes)? If I am going to spend decent money on a second rebuild may aswell go hard. Thanks Boys. Also just brought a VQ35de Stagea for my daily...so welcome to Wagoneers haha.

Stagea 2004 Autech Axis S Real simple - Does the 2wd version of this come with a LSD?

Lock Up Torque Converter Looking at buying a 2002 Nissan Stagea with a VQ25det. When crusing in 5th (auto or tip) the lock up torque converter does not lock at around 80-100km/h. Is this normal? In 4th it locks fine in auto/tip. You can just tell when crusing at 2000rpm and you slightly accellerate the engine rises in revs alittle but no speed increase. In 4th there is a speed increase. Is this a problem? Thanks Guys.

In and done - seem all good. my front squeak has gone from the car...yay was doing my head in. Car seems more gentle up front with rubber bushes. Going for a road trip tonight to give them a good test.

Cool yeah I cannot find hardrace in stock. These ones are certifiable in NZ so I think i will go with for now and see how they go. Glad we spotted the half snapped off Nagisto Auto (think thats how you spell it) before it failed completely.

So my aftermarket japanese front upper camber arms have snapped on one side (1 bolt holding it). I am now looking for a quick replacement and the only ones I can find are Truhart (USA Design Taiwan made?). Has anyone used them. Im not really into Taiwan stuff but it is availalbe and I cannot find my stock arms. The current ones are rose joints but I understand the Truharts are rubber bush. What should I look out for? Seems abit on the high rating - is that running the SAE correction method or what? If you running the American version then I have seen dynos add an extra 50kw on a hot day as it tries to factor in heat to the air density. Mine ran 384KW on jap/aus/nz conversion and we switched to American and I gained 18kw to 402....so I broke 400 haha. Imagine on E85 if I was pushing 460-470 a jump of 50 kw would easily be seen on the same day as me.

Hello I am going to remove the old center gauges from my R32 GTR. Few reasons just in case you want to know. 1) boost doesnt read high enough (and on EVC controller) 2) Volts is on turbo timer 3) Oil temp to be moved to new gauge. This allows me to install a 2DIN navigation/reverse cam head unit and keep aircon etc. my question is - can I just unplug the gauges and leave the wires behind untouched or do I have to do anything else?

Hey, I have been doing some research since my speed stopped working my power steering has become heavy (I have no HICAS or light) and that is very annoying. I had abit of speedo play for awhile so I guess this is what happens. Any tips when replacing the speedo cable? Home job? Not really that good with mechanical stuff but am with Electronics

Oh you kids and playing with wires on R33's...R32 all day. Switch car off while rolling and back on again. To put back in 4wd come to a complete stop. Problem is it gets very crazy with 500hp and a RWD GTR.

Hello, Had a weird one this holidays after a 5 hr drive in alot of heat and traffic i went to start the car the next day and it would turn over once or twice then sound like the starter motor was slipping (whizzing sound) and then try and turn it over again. I eventually got it started and now everything is fine. Starting perfect again. Is that just a warn out starter motor? Can the heat in the engine bay with 515hp and in traffic cause issues? Worth rebuilding the starter motor?

I got a Veil side JASMA 3.5" with no step downs. It sounds very nice and doesnt have a drone. Sounds alot better than some.
