  1. It's just my opinion. I think it distracts the eye in the cabin too much, although you can't miss it. Personally I'd go oem or the black/ silver Nismo. Sometimes understated adds much more and allows one to appreciate the entire view
  2. What vehicle are you getting? I assume there is none in Australia for sale What would you estimate resale?
  3. Not a fan of the knob. Stock or a different Nismo one imho
  4. Smash repairer if you want some one else to fix it. (or a boat builder ) Listen to the other guys, 33's are a sieve. Fix all the spots mentioned !
  5. Pull the boot rubber off the boot opening, silicon the channel and then push it back on securely Pull the tail lights out, silicon and put back in firmly next day hop in the boot with a torch and get some one to spray water all over the back and check for leaks Edit: Oh and seal all rust off from the oxygen if you have any
  6. to add the crowd is growing to watch on Society today - fwark me
  7. My concern is the media coverage will we never learn Shine a light on it and it will grow
  8. Be worth pooring over for anyone in the area
  9. I'll try hook up with a mate who has a black 34 GTR and try get a few pics
  10. Selling your GTR ?? Congrats big nuts - good effort
  11. Congrats Mate How did that happen ?
  12. Experience Peter, I was sitting in a HQ ute while one mate was filling up and the numbnut next to me decided to play with a lighter just rolling the wheel on the flint It ignigted the fumes in the cabin (Boom!) and lit up the filler neck. The attendant refused to come out with the extinguisher. So I went back over after about 30 seconds and put the cap back on which extinguished the flame. (Only the fumes were burning from the filler neck.) We all lost eyebrows, some hair and a few years. Farkin idiot Sorry no vid ...
  13. Fire extinguishers at the ready good luck Anthony
  14. It draws the eye too much Peter Tint it
  15. release bowser handle (natural reaction) and close lid (unnatural reaction) when fuel neck catches alight maybe difficult to comprehend if first time and/or fear sets in
  16. Nice polish job. I can see you ... Considered putting tinted Nismo side winkers (blinkers) on or even using the dark spray on tint ?
  17. Most of the time the melt is caused by the tip actually touching the rear bar. Shooting flames is ignited unburnt fuel As for the stains you can clean em off unless you leave them for too long. Decats, straight through type mufflers, straight through exhaust and running rich cause the fuel/oil stain.
  18. Terry, have you found R32GTRs are 'raw' in comparison to the later models? now owning and driving you can compare. I like it that way, Its an accumulated appreciation for drivers.
  19. Spotted a Yellow R8 ute yesterday. Was trying to read the decal on the back window and then looked at the drivers side rear view . BLONDE beauty anyway it read "Mz Maloo".
  20. If your stuck and cant find anything local Contact Shaun http://www.trimsbyshaun.com.au/ I have had 3 done for R32's organised by Shaun Turn around is generally 5 business days. Have a chat to him first. I highly recommend
  21. Nah - 32 GTRs did not come with Nismo 260kmph clusters Your Nismo Cluster at 140,000kms is likely on the low side for your GTR. So yes OEM swapped out and Nismo swapped in at some stage and likely actually has less kms than the body/engine. That's 6300 kms per year
  22. Well you do have a nice daily (XR6T)
