  1. Depends on how much work you can do yourself. $50 for a second hand compressor and about three hour's work if you're doing it for the first time (replacing the a/c compressor).

  3. RB25 actuator has 5psi spring. Does your mate have a stocker RB20 turbo? He can use whatever actuator he's running. Reason I say to use the RB20 actuator, you don't have to worry about a manual bleed valve failing/leaking and spiking. You're going to run the standard ECU so no point pumping more air into the engine if it isn't tuned for it. Plus running it at 10psi will keep it in tact i.e. a bit more reliable.

  5. Put the RB20 actuator on the RB25 turbo. I had a NEO turbo on my RB20 with stock everything else, no issues. Yes it'll run at 10psi, but 2-3 psi isn't going to make much difference.

  14. Who told you E10 is a mix of 95? E10 has a minimum rating of 91RON, but can be 93-94 (Mobil/7 Eleven advertise as 94RON), it doesn't go to 95RON. Although, I'm sure you can run it on E10 91RON, it'll retard the timing heaps. Who knows what it'll do to your fuel system. If you want to use your fuel card, buy something that is designed to run on E10.

  16. Check wiring at the start and battery. Clean the links (fat-ish wires with plugs attaching to positive terminal) while you're at it. Grinding noise is worn teeth on the starter and/or flywheel (when people run the starter after the engine fired up, all too common and cringe worthy).
  17. I spotted a bottle of Racing 10 last time My oil temps went beyond 130°C and obviously water temps went beyond 100°C and the car survived (drove home), so the oil (Racing 10) is pretty decent in my opinion.
  18. People who clearly cannot control a two-tonne vehicle are being handed driving license, simple as that. Imagine if the same thing were happening to, say, fork lift drivers.
  19. C'mon Nissan, make a 4 cylinder version and stick it in the new 510. Even the 3cyl hybrid in there would be pretty damn cool.
  20. I bought one a couple of months ago from the Casula store. They had heaps in stock. I think it's a tad less than $200 as well.
