  1. Option Nismo side skirts/front bumper/lips. V-Spec didn't come with them standard AFAIK, only the Brembo and wheels were changed.
  2. More information bud. Width, offset, tyre size/brand
  3. Probably remove rear turbo (which isn't that hard, once you've taken it off twice ). Front one looks damn near impossible.
  4. Do you know where the tyre rub? Why not raise it a couple of centimeters and see how you go?
  5. I wish the body on my car was that clean
  6. I can replace the rear dump on my 32 with the turbo in place pretty easily now . Haven't touched the front turbo yet (thank Rajab for that). You're making impressive numbers though. There's still hope for the ceramics!
  7. Gotta love Nissan, a starter motor from a forklift bolting[?] into a Skyline.
  8. Yep. Note that the R32 uses different oxygen sensors to the R33.
  9. Could still be the AFMs. Does it feel like it's surging or does it sort die in the arse when revving (under load)?
  10. Get S-Tune spring rates and the dampers matched. Would be good then
  11. Buy something you'll love driving. I would go straight to the newest model you can afford. Both cars are very quick, the GT-R will tend to scull your money a lot quicker though. A mate bought an Evo8 today, I took it for a spin. Surprisingly good car, I did not expect the build quality to be that good. Very quick of course, off the mark (so out of corners) it is a machine. I can imagine it being easier to drive (so generally quicker). It would be very interesting to drive it on a track. Just remember, if you decide on the GT-R, you'll have to treat it as a RWD that has the ability to pull itself straight. The R32's ATTESSA is pretty slow so you can get some good, easily controllable angles hahaha. After driving said mate's Evo and then jumping straight into my car, I wish I bought an R33 for the better build quality . Sitting in an R32 feels like a sports car, whereas R33/R34 and Evos feel more taxi-spec. I'm glad I bought the 32R though. You have to decide whether to buy it on logic/reasoning (Evo) or on emotion (GT-R).
  12. I reckon it's the wiring in the arse end of the 32. My rear wiper assembly just stopped working one day. No wiper or water squirter.
  13. Sounds pretty cool
  14. That's a 5-year plan. Save as much as you can until you graduate. Then work your way up from a turbo to a GT-R. By that time, you'll probably start looking at property so priorities will change. GLHF
  15. Doubt it's the plug. Take the HICAS computer out and have a look inside, there might be a loose screw or bad solder joints or something. Mine randomly craps out and it's pretty annoying. Makes me wish I bought an R33 GT-R .
  16. Nope, I'd say you need 18" wheels.
  17. Ah yes the master stopper helps with pedal feel (I run a Cusco one, got it through Jesse Streeter). 18x9.5 - 18x10 wheels (the Enkie are very well priced) with 265/35/18 Hankook RS3 tyres will be pretty good
  18. Tyres = the stickier the better. Get something like Advan AD08 or Hankook R-S3 if you can. Not sure if they come in the 225/50/16 size. Wider wheels+tyres will be beneficial. As for brakes, full fluid flush with fresh Super DOT4 (high temp >300deg rated) or DOT5.1 fluid. Pads, try QFM A1RM and new rotors if you need them. Don't bother with drilled rotors (they tend to crack with track use). If you want to upgrade your brakes, you'll have to get bigger wheels (with big brake clearance). I have GT-R Brembo front brakes, stock rear with A1RM pad and they stopped the car pretty well (Eastern Creek South Circuit, so no high speeds), but I have a shit brake master cylinder so I can't say how well they work compared to stockers. The bigger brakes does give you extra heat capacity though (I found the ABS would kick later with the Brembos). Wheels are 18x10 +20 (Nismo LMGT1) with 265/35/18 road tyres (need better tyres). Not sure what suspension setup you have, but I run about -2° camber with 6° caster on the front and -1° camber on the rear (adjustable upper arms, caster rod). The front alignment will have a role on the feel and grip level while turning.
  19. Oh sorry, didn't see that you're in the US. You can perhaps contact the organiser to see if they can get your stuff shipped separately? Unfortunately, there seems to be only the vented style available. Perhaps contact Seibon and see if they can make something up for you?
  20. Logic dictates 97RON, you don't want a tune that should be using higher rated fuel than what you're supplying.
