  1. My 2nd hand 5Zigen 3.5" JASMA approved cat back was pretty quiet, not sure on dB never got it tested. Shame the mid muffler cracked I would say cheapest option would be to get one made up, with two fat mufflers. I don't think the X-Force ones are that quiet. I had the mid muffler replaced with an X-Force 3.5" one, the car is a bit louder than before but still within legal I would say. I never have been hassled by the Police, went through a few RBTs without issue.
  2. You can use a heat gun, or a hair drier if there's a decent one laying around (your mum/sister/missus will get the shits though, so be prepared ) The HID retrofit has become a lot cheaper since Morimoto started making their own. Otherwise, you would have to source factory HID headlights.
  3. $9 for a hotdog is a bit much, but it's not bad once a month. I work at Ultimo, so Essen is close by
  4. 100deg in the oven should be fine for a few minutes. Proper HID lighting is a whole new level.
  5. Group buy on coilpack loom sounds good.
  6. Ahh Kura, haven't been in a while, good karage chicken. Dixon House lol cheap cheap. Never got sick from eating there, so it must be half decent. Surry Hills person, tried El Loco?

  8. I have some! Let me look for it when I get home. PM me.
  9. If you don't mind buying a car from NSW, PM me. Have a mate thinking about selling his ADM Spec S.
  10. Down the road from my work. I go with work friends pretty much once a week, the waitress knows us hahaha. Big servings! FYI if anyone is searching on a map, it's on the corner of Broadway and Wattle St.
  11. Not mods, but I found AUD$5 in the glove box and what looks like a Japanese rego slip in the driver's sun visor.
  12. I've had 245/40 and 245/45 on my 17x9 wheels and were stretched. 265/35 on my 18x10 are stretched, but my definition of stretch would be different to say, yours, I'm guessing. I didn't say anything about 235/40 . The person asking didn't say anything about prices, plus 245/40/17 aren't as expensive these days. Yes 235/45/17 is cheaper as it's way more popular. That being said, would you want to run wider tyres that fit into the guards? I'm going to run 255/40/17 on the back of my R31 (17x9 wheels). Picture was relevant to my "stretch" point (sidewall angle). 245 is slight stretch, 235 would be even more (that was my point). Plus, 245/40 on a 17x9 +22 was made to fit on my mate's S14 with rolled guards, so that is a real world example (unless S14 guards have more clearance than R32).
  13. I had 245/40 on my old 17x9, my definition of stretch is different to yours of course. 265/35/18 on 18x10 Same size on 18x9 Each to their own
  14. It's from Autech, not Nismo.
  15. In the boot, just to the left of the boot latch, there is a bracket with two relays. I'm after the one on the right (smaller one).
  16. That looks like it's stuffed. Since you have another set coming, take this one apart for fun Stick it in the oven @ 100degC for 5 minutes and pull it apart.
  17. Plus you get that fully sick stretch look.
  18. Sounds like it's running off the standard wastegate, so yeah, could be a dud bleed valve. Able to try another one?
  19. 245/40/17 all round, roll the guards, around -2deg negative camber, it should be fine. My mate with an S14 has same widths/offset and his is fine.
  20. Ballasts are usually mounted on the bottom of the headlight housing.
  21. 265/35/18 tyre will fit fine. Rear you probably have around -2deg camber (which is lots). Front, you'll have to get upper adjustable arms, run around -2deg, +5deg castor and it won't scrub.
  22. Is the standard boost solenoid still in place? If so, is it grounded?
  23. Looks like a 32. Just pull the hose off the surround.
  24. Wrong section bud, try http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/28-queensland/
