  1. About $560 with NRMA.
  2. Definitely throw some relays on. Unless you're going down the HID retrofit route, stick with the reflectors.
  3. Did you put 55W D2S bulbs into factory HID lights? (Factory ballasts). They are 35w ballasts. Also, 7000K is pretty high, standard is 4300K and anything over 5000K is for looks/wank factor.
  4. Or you could look at HSD suspension http://www.otomoto.com.au/p/8475209/hsd-ad-type-coliovers-for-skyline-ecr33.html For $999, 7kg/mm front springs, 5kg/mm rear springs, good for street.
  5. Stock turbos, overboosted or debris smashed into the exhaust turbines? Not revving over 2,500rpm sounds like AFMs.
  6. Wow gone to Fiji eh. Don't know where the owner would drive it, shit roads.
  7. 225 wide tyre on a 6.5" wide wheel = muffin tops but won't touch the guards nor suspension. 225 is for 7.5-8" wide wheels. Stick with 205/55/16, you can pick up good tyres in that size. Decide on your budget first, you can get tyres that cost $100 each and tyres that cost $400 each.
  8. What is the brake cooling setup on both cars? Had a quick chat to fatz about his track car, his brake ducts helped the pads last a lot longer compared to no cooling.
  9. That would be an RB30E block with an RB25 head. What OP wants to do is put an RB30E head on a RB25 block. It is something different, but is it worth the effort/money? We will wait and see.
  10. Hi All, Rear wiper on the R32 GT-R stopped working. No washer jet either. Tried a known working switch to no avail. Fuse looks good. Strange that the washer jet doesn't work any more. Used to work fine until last week. There is a small box just next to the wiper motor in the boot labelled 'amp wiper', will look at replacing it. Still doesn't explain the washer jet not working. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Best wedding car ever.
  12. Don't bother with EBC Green. I threw them out and put QFM HPX on my car, much better. If you car is street only, contact GSL Rallysport for some pads, either HPX or Resma pads.
  13. My RB30E made 109rwkW on a dyno, it's standard with GTS1 cam and GTS2 extractors. Dropping $10k into it would easily make 250rwkW Do it hero, and post results (so we can laugh at you). By the time you're done, you could have bought an RB25DET. You came here for advice, you got it, you don't like it so you're going to fight us? Kids these days...
  14. Pretty sure you'll have to pull the headlights out. Try removing the switch and see if you can find any loose/burnt contacts (or perhaps replacing the switch). OEM ballasts usually won't make noise, wish I could afford them lol.
  15. King Lows should be fine, it won't take your car below 100mm.
  16. So if I buy a bird, feed it sodium, it will peel apples for me?
  17. Don't know if R34s suffer the same headlight switch issue, but try another switch? Does the ballast make any weird noise compared to the other one? Tried to switch the ballasts?
  18. Always better to use street pads for the street and track pads on the track. Also look at brake cooling (ducts).
  19. I got my passenger side seal for $80+deliver from Tarrks (R32).
  20. Look up your VIN.
