  1. So the answer to my question is no, A dump pipe won't make you run a 1.06 around Wakefield, it's take a lot more parts then that and most of them aren't even engine related And you have an option of a guy who said it looks pretty, has he done back to back testing on a car with dyno sheets?
  2. probably not, it's the flange face of the split dump pipe that causes all if the turbulence
  3. do you have back to back proof on your own car or did you read the website?
  4. Splits tend to cause a lot more turbulence in the face of the dump area and actually make boost come on later We have proved this with 3 gtrs all running hks dumps on 3 different turbos, once we swapped over to bell mouth dumps on all 3 cars, they came alive
  5. ^^this is exactly what I was thinking^^
  6. I'm happy to send my $10, even happy to organize a cruise and have everyone donate $10 each to go towards the project, but!! If the project doesn't go ahead what happens to said $10
  7. The scene has changed a lot in 15 years and if you don't move with the times then you will no longer exist
  8. Both me and Paul (piggaz) have already been thru this very recently
  9. then a new problem arises! That is when you get the seat pressure right the spring binds at lift
  10. But to answer your actual question, raised comp in an rb26 is always going to be a good thing
  11. The jap springs are designed for a head with factory height valve seats, once you cut the seats it's moves them up in the head, which moves the valve up and the retainer with it and that lowers the spring tension at rest which is what causes float. Also put some boost over the top of the valve and the problem becomes even worse
  12. Maybe an apology to the bloke for calling him a cock might be in order
  13. Actually the problem isn't the valve spring usually, it's the way the machine shop cuts the valve seats and sets the clearances
  14. Wouldn't that be keir Wilson's old car?
  15. The bnr34 is a Gtr
  16. Well after a 10 second google search it showed this http://www.cybermotorsports.com.au/
  17. If its a 2.6 leave the standard cams in it and just get cam gears
  18. They got bored and went home
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/413303-beware-r34-gtr-for-sale-in-sydney/ It's in there
  20. That poor bloke, there is a massive thread about that car in the general automotive section, there is solid proof of the kms being wound back and a few other things were discovered about that car
  21. agree save paying for a clutch twice
  22. any cam gears are fine pick ones you like and yes those parts are fine
  23. oops just realized I made a mistake in the first line, it was meant to say "you don't need to change the rail or the regulator"
  24. Don't need fuel rail or injectors and cams are a waste of money in your set up, even the standard airbox with a paper filter is perfect Parts needed -9s Cam gears Ecu Injectors Fuel pump Clutch Full exhaust Boost controller That is everything required to make 300-330 with a standard engine
  25. Nick you hit the wrong button, you got the 9 in stead of the 5
