  1. I'm not after my interior painted, but it might be a good idea to show some of your work in the thread... Dave
  2. That looks awesome! I just ask why you made a couple of the clouds darker? just looks a little out of place with the other clouds still light and the still-bright sky background. Otherwise, I have no idea how you do it, but looks unreal! - Dave.
  3. my car does that sometimes to. only started after the mongoose alarm was installed... Tried to figure out when it happened if i: put the window up put the window down auto up auto down was all intermittent... still dont know why it does it.
  4. Are the pods sheilded at all? Like you said, it could be the heat coming in through the pods
  5. nice car! shame about the scratch...
  6. All this stuff is unreal! Almost want to sell my PC im using now and buy all the parts for a CarPuter!!! Also, have you got Australian maps for free drive? If so, how / where etc...
  7. It is a non turbo, but so is my mates... I'm pretty sure they are standard halogen's, but heres a pic anyways. Cheers, Dave.
  8. I am purchasing an R34 which im pretty sure doesn't have xenon's (its coming from japan, and i havent seen it yet). But a friend of mine has one that he is selling, and it has xenons. So, I have put it to him that when I get my car, we can do a straight swap and ill hook him up some cash for the difference. Is it hard to swap the entire light assembly from a standard 34 to a 34 xenon setup? The xenon's have a little 1,2,3 switch inside the car to adjust the vertical level of the headlight beam. Is this in the standard 34's as well? Cheers, Dave

"then claimed that i had a particularly expensive looking car and that it was not his concern." I would have straight up kicked his side mirror off the car... He won't chase you to fix it unless he is going to pay for the damage he did to your car. Then would have gotten back into my car saying, "Your shitbox mirror fell off? It's not my concern..." Arnie style...
  10. All the pictures show the rear wheels half under the guards, then the second last photo there is a big gap, yet the fronts look heaps lower... But the car is still shit...
  11. Yeah, my first HU was a JVC. Was one of the cheapest MP3 HU's out when the technology was release. I have a full alpine system now, and while I am happy with it, I wouldn't say I wouldn't buy anything else...
  12. What ToF said... Also, I think supercheap don't list them as they weren't sold in australia. but the earlier models were...
  13. Pics are now up. Sorry for the delay... Dave.
  14. And if you read ALL the threads on here about how often this occurs on R34's you will notice that even if they replace them, the problem can easily come back. There is a DIY in the tutorial or general maintenance or Splitfires seem to be the way to go. Dave.
  15. Updated first post. Can't swap, I have a 34 coming in and need to sell this pretty quickly. Just got a roadworthy done for it too! Cheers, Dave.
  16. Hi All, I put this on here a couple of months ago but had to hold onto it. It is 1992 R32 GTS25 RB25DE Auto Midnight Blue Mags Tinted Windows Mongoose Alarm A couple of small hail dents 129,000 on the clock There are some minor blemishes like some minor (5 small) hail dents, and the passenger a/c vent is mostly gone after it cracked Just fixed up a few things like steering rack boots, tie rod end bushes, new tyres all round, new battery. Looking for $7,500. For quick sale! Great first car. I bought the car off a friend of mine because I knew how good condition the car is in. In Calamvale. Will have some pics up tonight though they might be a bit dark. Will have better ones up tomorrow. Thanks, Dave
  17. If power is what you are after, then that is probably a good idea...
  18. I'm going to take a proactive approach to this as I am about to purchase and modify an R34 GTT. Also, My auntie is a Detective Senior Sargent and while this is out of the scope of what she does, she should be able to get me the infomation on modifications to vehicles. I plan on replacing the clutch fan with a thermo fan and I can see that as something a cop would want to pick out in a defect inspection. See how it turns out... Better to get the info before I do all the work I guess. I will let everyone know what my results find. Dave.
  19. Looking at the specs on the Davies Criag website. The 14" pumps 480L/s and the 16 pumps 1000L/s... So, 2x14" Fans dont do the job of 1x 16". However, the 2x14" would cover more space on the radiator, and may cool better for that reason...
  20. I have read that thread before. Having a non turbo, do I still have to pull all that shit off to get to the draig plug?
  21. Hi All, The coolant in my radiator is fairly rusty and I have run a coolant flush, then flushed the radiator. How can I flush the water that is still in the engine block? If possible, I don't want a fill up, run, cool, empty etc solution as I have done this about 8 times and it is still pretty bad... Is there a way to push the water through the block without the engine on? Thanks, Dave.
