this is a Stagea section conrad, not a Legnum section wtf kind of response are you after? after all, your opinion and someone elses opinion wont necessarily = the same opinion. personally I think the legnum sucks goat coch, but what I think obviously doesnt matter, does it? this dealer you spoke of, did he/she discuss with you the expansive/expensive problems Legnums have with their tranny boxes? mild mods to the Stagea, such as a higherflowing turbo (how they should have come standard!) and swaybars with big meaty shock absorbers, would definately change this dealer friends opinion. 100% guaranteed. but meh, so what. opionions count for nothing

Ive been overcharged before for a safc tune (around same $$ same time quoted). Vote with your feet and dont go back to that workshop for a tune. last tune cost me less than a cple hundred........ from a different tuner, lol. However, with the damage, the people who damages it need to pay for it. Put it this way, if I had a roof tiler doing some roofing work on my house and they fell thru the roof, causing damage obviously, such as a hole in the roof, would I ignore it and forget about it? no way hoze'y, get them to sort out the bodykit repairs for sure.

there are a handful on ebay, from reliable well known sellers starting from 1800usd for the turbo thru to 2800usd for a complete kit

yeah, dunno what I was thinking with 2800 thats utter BS same as above, 2400 at 100kmph flat road, bit of incline gradient its around 2500 lol

any air filter that fits a VR or VS Commodore will fit into an R33 Skyline airbox.

well, from the date of that last post until a few weekends ago, I had TWO rides. knee pain, and prescribed opiates, kept me off the bike and right away from riding. bike got sold 2 weeks ago, unhappy about it but time to move on. as a side note, had a highflowing muffler fitted and the Stagea has absolutely loved it. the highflow turbo spools up beautifully, loads of power. will have a slight touch up done to the tune to suit, when possible, and all will be sweet.

looks bloody fantastic. one day in the upncoming years we'll clean up our Stagea, but for now its neat enough. (fix rear bumper crack, refit skirts, cleanup scratches and dings, minor respray)

no helmets? surely that cant be f**king true ! yeah adoraa - sold my bike recently, Im thinking that perhaps, never know but just perhaps, my kneepain saved me from a bad "off", due to the stupid speeds I used to ride at thru the Hills. never had an accident, but as your skill level improves over time you dont slow down but infact speed up. wildcat - yeah those sort of replay images in the truckies head will be with him forever. it'll ruin his life.

link edited as Im a fool some info fyi: Ive had gary's group buy on my car for over a year now, including R34 mags and new tyres fitted 14months ago. havent had a wheel alignment and tyres are wearing perfectly. got to fit the front adj bushes and align it all tho.............. now the bike is sold got some cash to get it done. want to grab a shift kit too =)

hhhhmmm, Im hoping my 430w psu would suffice. maybe it wont. any suggestions? should I be upgrading to 550w or 600w supply? damn bike sale money, dont want to spend it all

If the r33 ecu is cracked and tuned, if you do any extra mods wouldnt it suffice to just simply add a SAFC for air:fuel alterations or SITC for ignition timing adjustments? ie, my car is auto (Stagea FTW!1111!!!!!) with safc/sitc. unhook them from the ecu, edit the ecu, make a slight change (example; change rear muffler), rehook them back up and then do a quick dyno run/alteration to the aftermarket piggybacks?

after some info myself.......... what is the best Windows Vista copy to get? there seem to be so many types out there. I have windows xp pro, dodgy version for $50, and its recently been cracked and fully authenticated. Bought myself 2extra gig of ram for a total of 4gig 533mhz ram so obviously I want to use it. Would windows vista home premium upgrade for $200 be a good buy? I just dont know enough about the vista, except that a lot of ppl have trouble with it !

yeah it was just a quick 1min search/opinion. I wouldnt use Celeron for gaming either.... sorry, was a quick search, but it gives you an idea. that motherboard would only be good if used as its intended, ie with 2 x graphics cards in SLi mode. I just picked up another MSI 7800GTX card for $190 delivered off ebay, hence why Im going to grab that board so I can use 2 of 'em, just awaiting delivery. If you are going to spend $400 on a vid card, look into the 7950gx2...... 1gig ram with 2x processors, awesome.

go ebay. Elixir 533 ddr2 ram, $132 delivered for 2 gig, or $140 for 667mhz ram. I use Thermaltake Soprano with extra fans. not meaning to preach to you, but definately doable for $1000.

300km would be correct, with no safc and with a shagged exhaust temp sensor.... I was on around 320-350kms then replaced the exhaust temp sensor and added an safc and it got 450km (fuel light staying on) with 140awkw. after a retune soon to suit the different muffler, incl adding on an adj cam gear wheel, should get 190awkw and still be around the 400km per tank mark.

Ended up finding the same board (Sli with both pcie's set at 16x, to suit a lga775 with 533mhz ram) for $150usd off ebay. Also found a 2nd MSI7800GTX for a cple hundred, so SLi here I come !! :sorcerer:
