  1. 02's wont be used when the car is under load so discount that idea, howver is the plug was shorting out, this wont be good for the ECU - so confirm that theres a known misfire bug with BNR32 and PFC users, its in the FAQ, have a read of that it might give you some ideas on where to look
  2. SPLITFIRE ignition coils
  3. yep will be there for sure
  4. 02 REG is needed for BNR32 owners as the PFC unit for BNR32 and BCNR33 is the same unit but the BNR32 has titania 02 sensors and BCNR33 has normal 02 sensors. the BNR32 needs to be set as registered to make them work as titania sensors properly. Otherwise with it off the PFC assumes they are BCNR33 style 02 sensors. This is covered in the FAQ apexi's official answer; There is a difference in the O2 sensor for these vehicles. (With or without internal register) After tuning, please check () "O2 SENSOR REGISTER" for BNR32, and NOT for BCNR33. * It may be different if the O2 sensor is modified and/or changed.
  5. well if you have datalogit then warm the engine up, get the water temp to near 80deg save the tune, perform a data init and redo the self idle adjustement procedure make sure the idle is stable (test it properly) once done and then load the tune back on this should clear away any idle issues before you ask, its in the PFC FAQ in my sig so read that on how to do the self idle adjustment correctly if you dont do it or properly or skip parts of it you end up with a hunting idle
  6. R32 actuator is 12psi
  7. when did the problem start? what changed before the problem occured? common problem solving tactics
  8. any nissan dealer should be able to diag it for you put the stock ecu cos they will probably check consult first they'll charge you for the diag too so it wont come for free
  9. read the manual set the boost correctly
  10. get an old HKS EVC II from yahoo japan should come out cheap and be fine adjustable gain
  11. when was the PFC installed? who installed it?
  12. i agree yours peaks at 4600rpm (torque does) then it tapers off constantly until redline youve got a restriction, the exhaust is the usual first spot
  13. wire in the consult port and run std ecu diags
  14. damn thats a hefty 200,000 service cost then if i replace all the items at risk timing belt change (as part of normal X00,000 service) standard X00,000 service fluids, etc oil pump water pump would it be needed to replace pistons here or stock ones are ok even at 200,000? now lets say i just drive it till the timing belt snaps its likely to mash the valves and pistons so it would be the same as above, plus pistons and valves
  15. i cant get any leave off work, only been here 2 months so i dont have any leave and i think theres a clause in my contract that says i cant take any leave for the first year
  16. this is a load of nonsense, doing the above will achieve zero if the hand controller is displaying knock, the engine is knocking you have one or two cells that have too much timing, simple
  17. bit of a bugger hey, water pump & oil pump in parts alone is nearly $1k all up ? but if dont replace them and either fails then you risk the engine - bah hum bug likewise with the turbo too i spose, if i dont replace it and the exhaust wheel dies then it can risk taking the engine and new internals with it bugger

  19. check engine bay relays check fuses next to steering wheel check fuses/relays in the boot failing that go see an auto elec
  20. one would assume the latency is wrong how does the correction look? is that normal and relative to their size vs old injectors? how did you find the AFRs when tuning it - did it need tons of correction on the INJ map or was it fairly OK?
  21. the site tells you im sure of it green label rb20 rb25 series 1 pink label rb25 series 2 you can mix and match but you have to cut wires so if you have green label, go for an rb20 or rb25 s1 afm
  22. anyone got any info on a 200k service? std factory items (200k old): water pump, oil pump, turbo, all internals and usual junk & new coils what really needs doing? ie: what is at risk of failure i dont want any more power
  23. whats cookin today
  24. see you all there
  25. correct, same thing applies run a single 02 sensor (narrow) and run its output signal wire to both 02-1 and 02-2 inputs on the RB26 PFC under SENSOR SW CHECK 02-1 and 02-2 will show the same value
