  1. with standard ECU and standard setup if you unplug the airflow meters the RPM will cap at 2500rpm and it will be limp mode there is no way known the stock ECU would run std maps with airflow meters unplugged, its suicide and the engine has no idea how much air is coming in double check again or maybe you have some wierd remapped std ecu with a map sensor hack / hks vein setup or something look look for map sensors and crazy wiring if thats the case
  2. the housings will be the same but the rear wheel will be steel instead of ceramic just test if the exhaust wheel is magnetic, if it is its a rear steel wheel (either n1 or highflowed) also on the highflow version the snout takes up the whole rear outlet, where as on the stockers, theres a good 3-4mm radius gap around the snout
  3. ah fiddlesticks now i need a set of stock wheels anyone got a set of stockies i can borrow happy to exchange for beer / presents etc
  4. close... ? http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=h...g&title=K19
  5. problem solved - centre cap found , thanks all
  6. with the right manifold and setup a gt30 should fit under there or a 35r but the std heatshield wont fit, so if you leave it off, it will stick out like dogs balls
  7. ah ok - ill ask her i dont mind what colour it is, im going to spray them so any colour is fine
  8. i ran over it, after i put the wheel back on i left the main nut off, so the cap rolled off at low speeds and then my wheel mashed it
  9. i need one of these ... super advan 3 racing cap 17" i broke one of mine - have been watching yahoo auctions like a hawk but nothing, there was a few sets a while ago, but none now
  10. reset stock ecu (search to find out how to do it) if that doesnt clear it go see a mechanic ensure you are using an atmo bov - check you have the std one setup

  12. a few options 1) try it how you said 2) open mouthed turbochagers (jap style) 3) cutsom ducting and piping 4) hks fake airflow meters - http://www.nengun.com/hks/air-flow-less-adapter 5) apexi power intake and suction kit for djetro setup (no afm attachments) - http://www.nengun.com/apexi/super-suction-kit-d-jetro 6) keep the stock items where they are and just leave the afms unplugged
  13. main menu ETC, DATA INIT, YES, NEXT, turn car off read the self learn idle procedure and pre-check BEFORE starting the car (its in the faq)
  14. dont know i just put castrol transmax z in my rear diff resivour in the boot its the same as the attessa 4wd fluid - basically auto trans fluid - i think its red from memory
  15. keep the std airbox
  16. just ask a few workshops what they use and recommend ive heard of a few "single" cheap $400 clutches that suit upto 300rwkw only they slip at 200rwkw so just double check and ask questions - you cant go wrong
  17. yeah its not worth the hassle and change of car for it the a-lsd or vspec rear diff (same thing) has a vspec pump on the right side underneath the car on a shelf. the reservoir is in the boot on the right hand side and takes auto transmissions fluid. the system (the same as the vspec diff) watches the abs wheel speed sensors. when it detects one of the wheels is moving rapdily faster than the other, ie: wheel spin it turns the vspec pump on, which pumps fluid into the diff housing, to make it lock. i ran a bypass into the pump relay and put a switch in my car so i can run the pump non stop. it doesnt seem to help much and it still sometimes single-spins so its a bit annoying. when it does work correctly the car glides perfectly, like you would expect.
  18. a single heavy duty should hold 200rwkw if you ride it like a whore and launch the crap out of it though, it wont last forever so keep that mind speak to a few places and compare prices. about 3 years i got a single heavy duty supplied and fitted for an r33 for $1200. its now at the stage of being replaced and is slipping. its been to a few motorsport days (deca's) and has been to heathcote as well.
  19. when your std diff dies and starts single wheeling just get it reshimmed or replaced with a 2 way diff etc ive got active-lsd and its not that great - a bit annoying actually
  20. it could be anything - hate to say it but go show a mechanic
  21. it wasnt a smart ass remark, i dont know any of the west meets that have failed, in the past, so i dont get your "another failed" meet comment? ive attended all of them from memory, i think and there hasnt been any issues theres going to be an east vs west one coming up soon
  22. no dramas, get slackware happening and let us know how u go
