  5. any workshop will do any work if you pay them enough, simple really the key to this receipe is finding one who knows both i would recommend an LS1 style workshop, as i would expect the skyline shell etc is fairly normal
  6. try it with a std ecu? maybe mines have put some stupid stuff in there - who knows
  7. quite a few things -lots of skylines for sale -lots of bad attention to imports -increasing fuel costs -increasing interest rates affects other costs of living -general cost of living is going up, and increased quite a bit lately
  8. go see an auto elec
  9. the only thing i can suggest is check the speed sensor wiring
  10. when you encounter the high RPM issue check out SENSOR SW CHECK and see if anything out of the ordinary happens maybe leave that screen open and watch if you see the issue about to occur other than that all i can suggest is maybe clean AAC, check leaks etc, check TPS, check throttle body read the nissan service manual for idle related issues and lastly a reset as a last resort (get someone to copy the tune before you do)

i think thats a bit of an 80's stereo type most lease cars are treated pretty well as they have set service schedules and usually the costs are covered so the leasee doesnt have to fork out $500 each time the car needs a service, so its usually done as per the lease schedule ie: regulary and as per the dealers program for servicing. also if its a novated lease the baloon payment is the cars value so if the leasee "trashes" the car, then they have make a bigger loss on the car, so thats unlikely. when i had my R33 on a novated lease it had pre-arranged services with nissan as per the proper spec so they did all the usual shit & the dealer would even do ptional work - fix sqeaks and stuff without asking it also included tyre budgets and other stuff so the car got good decent hardware/maitenance the dealer would even call me up reminding me of service schedules etc so i wouldnt miss them now that its off a lease it gets serviced when i feel like it or when i notice its blowing smoke / oil pressure etc etc otherwise it doesnt get any attention - tyres changed when bald instead of normal 80% wear and so on
  12. i sold my old boost solneoid to dave. quick easy payment and honest guy.

  18. hey gang ive just started a new job on collins st (35) and just wondering who else from SAU is in the area let us know if you are local and we can catch up for lunch or something i dont know anyone in the company so far (telstra) so lunch by yourself isnt terribly exciting
  19. on the wiring loom look for 02 sensor, there are two of them, either should be fine check in google or in the howto section for RB26 pin out diagrams to find the 02 sensor wire #'s be sure to note the BNR32 uses titania 02 sensors and not normal 02 sensors like BCNR33 and ECR33 so your a/f guage might not understand/expect titania style 02 sensors - i dont know what will happen if you try it for example the apexi pen turbo timer expects and uses normal 02 sensors, but it doesnt work on the BNR32 but on the BCNR33 and ECR33 it works and operates fine (as it has normal 02 sensors) i dont know what titania sensors are or how they are different sorry
  20. why not ring vicroads, or go see them, or check on their website? it would be covered on their for sure.... go look.... but the auto/manual normally only applies on your p's under conditions look on the back of your licence under conditions, it will have A for auto on your normal full licence the auto condition should vanish and you can drive whatever so if you have your full licence, check for the conditions on the back if you dont, wait till you get your full licence or speak to vic roads on how to retest with manual while on p's
  21. remember that because your converting from N/A to a turbo setup you can only run minimal boost. as the compression from the NA motor will be way higher than the turbo equiv. stick with the stock turbo and around 5psi or whatever the tuner is ok with. you might find any more boost will kill the motor without compression change (ask the tuner).
  22. powerfc, intercooler, tune
  23. the posts were removed as they were junk it was 3 pages of "your gay" "no you are" "no but you are" so in the bin they go. i dont mod forced induction only vic sorry
  24. the best place is next to the compressor outlet that way you take out any loss from the pipework, intercooler core and other junk along the way if you look at pics of the HKS 2835 ProS youll see the actuator gets a signal from its own compressor cover, this is the ideal way but most common places are intercooler pipe work before the intercooler is fine
  25. good luck with the meet, but whats the obsession with car washes lately. you guys can have a meet without washing your car ya know
