WHERE TO MEET (Brissy people) BP CABOOLTURE - (TWIN BP's) NTH BOUND BRUCE HWY CABOOLTURE 1000 FOR A 1030 LEAVE WHERE ARE WE GOING?? for a nice sedate cruise in the hills of the blackall ranges this will take in beerwah, peachchester , Bald Knob , Maleny , Balmoral Ridge , Montville and finally lunch at the palmwoods pub. there will be a break point or two along the way for all of us to talk and compare cars. the roads are clear and fun with a lot of uphill/downhill and turns. some will challenge you and some you will need your head screwed on for. no stupidity on the day. the OFFICIAL route will be disclosed on the day by me WARNINGS for this run WE WILL USE UHF RADIOS!!! a small handheld is fine and the channel will be set on the day. if any one has a 5w handheld - bring it. the run at Montville is a STEEP DOWNHILL run so make sure you have brakes. I did it in my van without issue and had a blast doing it take this as a word of warning. all road rules apply CONDUCT Any stupidity and you will have myself and the rest of the club members to deal with. its a social cruise day. if you bring a mate please explain this to them. we are a club and anything that goes bad or stupid behavior reflects on the club and everyone in it. IN ENGLISH ACT LIKE A TOOL AND YOU WILL BE TREATED AS ONE! COMMON SENSE PREVAILS. IF YOU LACK THAT - DON'T COME. ----------------- Now with all that aside - who's coming ?? buy a nissan and not a renault.. (those that get what I said will nod.) the R series cars are nissan built/infuenced. the V series are nissan built renault influenced and have electrical niggles that will driver you batty. suggest you read the FAQ I work in the v series area.

have the lower GTR intercooler mounts now. seems very few people (wreckers) know that these things come off the car. mate of mine was scrapping a nose cut and I noticed them on it. 6 10mm nuts/bolts later they were mine. rubber mounts are missing though

ERD - THAT IS ALL !!

in the boot where the fuel pump cover is there should be a squarish steel cover with two bolts in it. (covers the power plug) if it is there - how much with the two bolts? if you need an image of it I can provide one.

clint, come for a drive. JB tend to use whoever they can get. so if its a ex strathfield employee with a year under the belt then that's what you get. food for thought.

done PLENTY of them. find a mitsi magna form 2002 on and get the electric one out of it. that fits neatly into the stock mounts and has more than enough torque to pull the catch. to find one look inteh glove box of the wreck for a boot switch.. the actuator is located under the antenna plate on the passenger side.. get the unit, wiring and the pull cable. should set you back $50 or so.

I would LOVE to see how he pulls that off for $1500.. the intefaces are $600 on their own. let alone a decent GPS. and the system is still in japanese. I have seen a few DVD conversions in V35s and to be honest if its the same guy (and I believe it is) personally I would steer clear. speak to turbosuk about his car. over the space of 6-8 months I have had conversations with people that want to crack this thing but none are in a position to do so and a lot seem to point the question at me. balls in your court - someone rip the HDD out of it . unlock it and post the 30gb of contents up so we can get cracking on it. if you want to buy one of these cars buy one WITHOUT navi and add it. that is FAR easier to do that trying to reverse engineer the top end unit believe me. (it shares the same platform as the JDM GTR with a different boot loader.)

I paid $2300 for mine. it was a non neo though. still looking for a neo 4wd one though.

we need to talk - easier put simply though anything is possible with time and $$. I have access to a lot of things that most others don't. that includes odd panels. I do a fair bit of business with japan and can land damn near anything OEM. price: suggest you work out what you want from a house PC and double it in cost.

the one I pictured above was set up using the TV button first to get an alternate image and from there the camera took over as required. I can knock a circuit together that will switch it over whne you throw reverse and switch it back in forward gear. as for cost probably best to ask someone down your way. I can tell you that if I did it here $600 would not be out of the question by the time I sat down and designed a proper PIC based switching circuit for it,supplied a decent camera and fitted it all.
