quiktrak. I use them for all my council related jobs. as for the fence controller idea - you work it out. I'm NOT disclosing how i did it.

CD mech is stuffed. also it is NOT that easy to get the discs out as the above poster thinks. you will have to TOTALLY strip the unit down to NOTHING before you get one of them out. in short the mech has to be rebuilt. if you can get the thing out send it to me and I'll fix it. give me a ring (contact in sig.) if interested.

this is correct. unsure on model designation. I have seen the screens on various models 250gt,300gt and the 350gt. if you can see the buttons on the top of the dash then it is there. NONE of them play DVD video. The DVD is a DVD ROM ONLY! (this is used for navigation and vehicle features.) correct. TV doesn't work here in (until I get my hands on it..) no. if it is bose the car is wired specifically for it. the ENTIRE dash panel is one piece and the controls are ALL part of that panel. you can buy the panels to remove it but its NOT a cheap exercise to do it. if the OE nav screen is there then the TV system is there. they are quite a car to drive. the 250 and 300 GT are slower but not too bad. the 350GT is where it is at if you still have a bit of hoon in you. I drove a 350 GT back to a customer and scared myself in it as it accelerates quite quickly when you mash the right foot. the 6 speed is more impressive. if you import one route it via brisbane and I'll work a bit of magic on it.

for brokering talk to iron chef imports. the general idea is - you ask for a car. they present you with a few and you pick. from there pay the bills as they come and at the end you have a car. there is a LOT more to it than that (I'm doing this myself now.) but that is the general gist of it. I think Waz has FAST somewhere. (I do as well but use it for a different purpose.) that is the parts book that nissan use. pop a chassis ID in and you get the car's details.

which takes out the CARWINGS versions. (they are 2004.5 +) I believe. I'm more interested in the other models it covers..(not just the skyline.)

unsure about the service interval. I know some compliance shops will check and clear them. nissan can reset it.

I'll ask a few questions: when you pulled the passenger dash loose did you undo the yellow plug? that is the passenger airbag feed. did you unplug anything yellow? as for resetting the light. I can but I'll have to get a scan tool first. that will also tell me what it came up for in the first place.

I can do HID stuff. I really need to see what is left of yours BEFORE I go buying a complete PROPER kit.

thye had xenon lights in them originally. the ballasts are probably STILL THERE! run it past my place and I'll tell you.

look at the seat harnesses first. that looks like a 35 so there will be at least 8 airbags in it. nissan can reset that light for a fee. the consult 2 unit will read the car.

without looking at it I could tell you. in melbourne see stylyn car audio in boronia or bentleigh. mention my name and they will take car of you

someone with FAST will be able to tell you. mine is down currently ( I have it up to 2008.)

don't forget about the LHD side of things. the LHD versions have a 15 deg lean to the left. put them on a rhd car and they are shining into the oncoming traffic.

as in what type are they?? bonnet pin - find it and disconnect it.

sensors in car - clarify also look at the bonnet switch.
