  1. I find the skyline tanks pretty good in design, I drove my car around Wakefield into the last 1/4 and no fuelling issues at all.. mind you, it's still a stock piece of shit but you get the idea.
  2. just to make it worth it, get to the shop and quickly delete your existing tune so they have to tune it from scratch-ish (probbaly have other maps they can use from other cars and touch up) but for what it is worth lol
  3. depends where you go, most tuners like to charge for a full tune (even though they don't do it) I would say so, but I have a few friends that run jungle juice in their EVOs and are using stock fuel lines. Injectors & pump if you need to, if there's enough supply save your money for beer. E85 460L/h Walbro pumps by Ti Automotive can be had for $200 ish delivered, Tuff performance had a pretty cheap sale not long ago.
  4. bring to tuner, up boost, tidy up tune, fry tyres.. Tuner will then tell you if: - you need new injectors - you need new fuel pump cam gears, cams probably not needed.. many guys on SAU fry tyres with 300kW+ on 98 with stock cams & stock cam gears.

  6. Hrms, don't recall having that issue back in RB20DET boat anchor days.. I'm sure all I did was remove the stock RB20 hair dryer and just bolted up the RB25 heat gun.
  7. Install a wideband o2 and see what your car is doing. I've seen lazy tuners who don't even care too much about off boost injection maps and just rely purely on o2 closed loop to work out the mixtures.
  8. Use the search button, there's a DIY for this. Also it's off and on affair (provided you have the RB25DET turbo elbow)
  9. try using D-Link products, simple as bat shit to set up and buy like a Synology NAS to do all the recording... alternatively you could build a PC specifically for recording all the wireless D-Link cameras, just pop in RAID1 with 2x 3TB NAS HDDs and a high effciency PSU and off you go. I'm currently using a D-Link wireless 932L camera, works a treat.. automatic day/night with sound. I can remote into it from my phone and see/listen to what's going on and my Synology DS-212 NAS records everything
  10. You mean Honeywell turbos? lol just go for something that suits your goals/requirements.. no need to be a brand wh0re and get a Honeywell turbo. Don't know how true this is, but it's worth a read: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1936851
  11. now now, play nice.. at least he didn't ask how much boost I can run with my stock ecu & turbo
  12. Won't name any famous tuning shops, but I've seen for myself copy and paste tunes across similar cars.... and funny how "they were all tuned from scratch" ra ra ra.. and tuned the cold start, etc... car probably saw about 15 minutes of dyno time and copy and paste of a bin file... $1100 later, see you bye.
  13. might be off topic to some, but if you're chasing that power goal, why not go a Hypergear turbo by Stao?
  14. Not to mention the diff, the brakes, the gearbox is garbage compared to the turbo version. Only one thing shines, it has a non hicas cradle lol
  15. I paid 135$ for a Worley eBay radiator, so did ny mate. So far so good, even the welds are decent.
  16. Yes and no, depends on your powergoal. You've got Matty spinning up 390kW on a dead stock motor and it also gets punished. I've sbeen how he drives it lol So why spend thousands when a drop in NEO will cost you half the price of a basic engine rebuild? Just my thought.
  17. I've bought a ling long eBay special 42mm so far so good. Has been on the track once with no signs of issues. Held temps better than the stock radiator.
  18. hahahah that's right! Unless you're not anal like me, I hate shit that doesn't fit.. gets on my nerves
  19. just don't hesitate and just slip it as you increase revs.. I can drive it like a normal person without riding it... all my mates stall it and hop it.. it's so funny watching them
