  1. ^ have you tried HC Hawa, down the road from El Jannahs? Their chicken is nicer!
  2. you'll get away without one.. just will be laggy, longer duration = can add more timing but with your stock timing map it will run just fine... did you go 272 Kelford? and now the car goes "brap brap brap brap brap" on idle? hahaha I bet the GT-R boys are jelly, long duration cams and no lag
  3. now that's really fuarked... Time to hit up: www.accc.gov.au/‎ After all, they are an Australian Store and it was false advertising.
  4. Here we go! It's weird, only happens on the nice blue/white theme and when I go to reply to a message it decides to go to this horrid goth/slit wrist coloured theme and throws an exception. Then it remains on the black/goth theme until I go to the full version, change back to the deluxe them and then revert back to mobile.
  5. I've used it, it's pretty accurate not far off Natsoft
  6. and FYI, if anyone has bought a second hand EVC 5/6 remember to reset the unit and apply the initial settings or else you'll spend a day and forever trying to get it to work as it takes the initial setup as the base duty cycle/boost required.
  7. You should check out the hypergear thread, there are more dyno graphs than there are sheets of perforated toilet paper on a roll. And yes a SS1PU Hypergear will out perform a HKS2535, I dare say even a GT-RS
  8. I have an AEM used unit sitting around at home, let me test the sensor and see if it's still good. It's actually my mates, but I don't think he needs it any time soon so I might as well sell it.
  9. nice pics! maybe cruise to a feeding ground too next time lol.. I like food after a cruise
  10. On the money here, then one loads up their car on the race track or a 1 mile race at an airport strip and blows their motor. Often a naughty little trick to get mad numbers on a dyno is to shorten the ramp rate and run it in 3rd... then when a car actually truly gets loaded up kapow..
  11. it's harder to control boost with an actuator that's got a lower rating, and yes your method of tuning is good.. but tuners have a business to run and you'll find that 9 out of 10 cars will have nearly the same ignition map (provided they are the same car with same same but different turbos). Most tuners just tidy up the AFRs then do a few power runs and go here's your dyno print out, and I've "supposedly" spent XYZ hours doing your cold start tune, hot sauce tune, whatever the fk they ramble about.. because cold start isn't really a tune, it's just setting up your cold start table & idle valve duty cycle.. usually can be left as per the base map and works. Ok, I should stop rambling before I offend people.
  12. Really depends on the oil used too, a diff can be pretty "quiet" to use for normal driving and won't clunk as much as you think.. It will chirp and skip when doing u-turns or moving around a carpark but other than that it's not that bad.
  13. I've got a full complete set for a R33 GTS-t essentially the same, this includes the hot pipe too
  14. lol... I can't go regardless, unless it's like Sunday at 4pm (or whenever my gf finishes month end crap at work)... This is why we got tickets to Melbourne instead lol
  15. You won't lose "all" of it. It's still assisted, just not as much and will be heavy compare to normal. The HICAS ecu controls the assistance amount at vs. vehicle speed.
  16. I'm trying to sell 2x of mine with about 80~90% tread for $100 and no bites.. might just put them on some wheels and go to another SAU texi and fry them instead
  17. I'm just in Canley Vale, if you want just swing by weeknights or Sunday.. happy to let you try mine
  18. ate at Paramount Project yes for brunch, amazing coffees & their burgers are "off-chops"
