    If you watch some old BMI videos you see the Japs carefully cut out the the flat area of the shroud to prevent the fan from making contact... Let me find a still/photo and show you what I mean. ** edit can't find on google images, and going cross eyed looking lol

    makes sense, I never thought of it that way I've got mine welded to my cross over Plazmaman pipe before the TB (I deleted the the fugly stock RB25DET cross over pipe)

    Might be off topic, but what's wrong with the stock IAT? it already is connected on the harness and goes to the ECU, I'm sure the Haltech reads it.. unless you're not running a Plug In one.

    whilst you're changing your CAS, might as well pop off the cam belt cover and see if your CAM gears line up properly to all the markings vs. your crank

    I use a 45mm Turbosmart Hypergate off a Hypergear SS2, happily runs 0.5 bar all the way to 1.2 bar and holds to red line. Will be dialling in 1.5 bar once I get my injectors sorted out, right now stock injectors are hitting 92%... great spray pattern haha

    If you're asking about boost thresholds, etc. I suggest you don't try and tune your own car, I've seen you've posted up on the adaptronic forum.

    and who doesn't like head? It proves they did it right, stock cams/valves and it's capable of 400kW+ (900kW according to zebrah) without any valve float business to worry about.     that's the spirit - no point changing something that works well from factory.. if only our R32/33/34 all had yamaha motors.. 2JZ will happily make over 400kW unopened, stock cams, stock gears, stock everything really
