  1. ^ GT-R plenum would be worse IMHO because you need to run one of those fugly hacked up spacer plates and that would affect airflow and also the injector spray would be offset. Of course, it has been tried & tested.. but for 370~400kW why not stick to the stock plenum, but if you have cash to spend might as well get a Plazmaman plenum
  2. Fuel pump would be installed incorrectly and hose might have popped off inside the tank, hence you can hear it prime but yet you're getting no fuel pressure. ** edit OR your FPCM & resistor has carked it.. try earthing your pump directly, bypassing the OEM earth.
  3. more boost = your motor's volumetric efficiency increases.. SO.. you could say when you're driving like a tool and fully on boost, at maximum peak torque your motor is "efficient" I always like to put my motor in it's "efficiency" zone
  4. you did so! fuark I am blind.. been at work too long today
  5. hook up an external gate, no more exhaust restriction
  6. Sounds like the fuel pump you replaced is having issues, pull off the fuel hose and feed it into a bucket or bottle and flick the car "ON" however don't crank it. It should prime, see if there's any fuel first. Then work from there
  7. ^ alternatively you could use the stock heat shield. Using some flat bar you "could" make a bracket that bolts up to the power steer reservoir and bolt it to the existing two holes on the shield. Looks OEM.. I did something kinda similar, however had to chop off a massive chunk to clear the external gate and screamer pipe lol
  8. you'll be surprised some people can't even use a multimeter and have no farking idea.
  9. ^ just curious, for those results, why wouldn't you just get s SS2?
  10. if you don't have access to either service manual and/or a multimeter just unplug it and see if your economy changes
  11. I always was under the impression that bonnet liner was to protect your paint from heat stress, however could be completely wrong.
  12. Yes we both run single plates. At St Mary's clutch you have the option of Carbotic or Ceramic rebuilds. What did your mate end up getting?
  13. Get a bigger turbo I'm serious too, because it's laggier you won't be on boost all the time.
  14. Correct, I run a custom exedy 10" inch clutch that NPC modify. However I'm getting my NPC clutch rebuilt by Western Clutch in St Mary's this Saturday. Drive in drive out service (cbf pulling off the box this time lol)
  15. ^ unless the monkeys at GK tech have moulded the fan blades wrong so instead of a pull fan it has become a push fan LOL
  16. Matty runs a JB clutch I run a NPC 10" Carbotic clutch. Doug does sound like a stoner, but he knows his stuff and the clutch works how it should.. not to mention the pedal is super soft like a stock clutch however clamps 1800kg. Downside is, you look like a tool trying to drive the car normally haha.. Guarantee you anyone that doesn't own a sports car will stall it or fry tyres straight up first time.
  17. ^LOL so when we going to terrorise sydney with gate warz? LOL
  18. eh, doesn't your breather connect to a hose? I don't get fluid leaking out of mine, unless it's all evaporated lately (skips like a locked diff now lol)
  19. bottom line, it's just shit lol same thing on my mate's S15, OEM fan cools better.. the GK Tech one just makes loads of noise and that's it
  20. ooo noes going wakefield that day.. come watch me
  21. yes and those injectors are 448cc at 3bar NOT 480cc
  22. what's wrong with the ryco filters? I've always run them and for $10 (where I get them from) I just toss them out every year
  23. that kit still requires you to mod/trim the hoses and make some brackets, etc. to fit... why not just DIY a kit yourself? a GREX plate & Torques UK or Earls or Speedflow fittings will be 100x better than that kit. if you're super ceebs, just buy a full bolt on jap kit and don't worry about a thing
  24. No need for FPR changes or anything, you only would need one if you cannot get the fuel pressure at 3 bar on idle (with the vacuum to the FPR disconnected when measuring pressure)
