The Stock R33 GTR
No Crust Racing replied to Steve85's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Profit for me = part of engine build for Silvia. Originally it was going to be the full engine build and box swap etc but the spec list kinda grew.... Driving an M4 really changed my world view. So many cars I haven't experienced. I've had 2 GT-Rs and aside from the power differences they were largely the same. Will always love them, just don't want another project and I don't think I could stop myself building it if I owned another. To find one "finished" these days is drug money. There's no way I would spend the kind of money I got for the 34 on another one. Even rough 33s are so far overpriced it's nuts. I get to live the dream through you and your dollars instead -

Well, it's not my style, but it's your car and you've got to love it. If re-sale matters to you, I would strongly suggest not doing that particular mod, but if that's not a concern, go wild and enjoy it -

I've had good success scuffing pads before, same pricess pretty much. How far away is your tuners dyno? -
Easy to check then, dont drive it til you check... Bathroom looks great, I'm sure that shower will get your wife wet.

Drop the sump and check the bearings. Dont drive it til you do. Do the oil pump while it's apart, don't f**k around and risk $$ on the motor. You had it balanced right?

Do people still build GT-Rs on here?! -
Cheapest on Carsales is mid 50s, i just looked.... #guilty But like I said, other shit to do. new shed, hoist, horse shelter, wood shed, roofing two sections of the deck, driveway grading, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, ensuite, powder room all still to renovate.... Hell I'm still evicting the microbats from one section of room (which will mean new insulation). f**k houses.

Turbo diesels issues is why I bought a V6 Prado, I'd rather 1-2L more per hundred but less over hassle, cost, worry, noise, etc. I think Fats has a high K's q7 also and it seems to have been a reliable bus. Dose can afford a SQ5, he just "can't" afford it in the same way I can't afford lots of things, that is because we have other priorities and hopefully make smarter choices than chasing the latest nice car. Please keep dropping M4 prices... thanks.

S13 Sprint/Time Attack Style Build
No Crust Racing replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Motorsport Builds
Or just use run a catch can and use threebond every third service, but lets be real, if I buy 1 I'll keep it a year or 2 and put a handful of k's on it before selling it again. -

Modded 335i would be the budget aller choice I guess? But then again, walnut blasting, lol
