  1. i adjusted the ceffy ( assume c33 would aswell) speedo by repeatedly pressing on the needle forward for more speed or backward for less of a speed reading. not sure if its just my luck or if it'll work for everyone else
  2. usually rwc places like bigger brakes etc but now we cant have good brakes to stop. VIC = fail
  3. fronts are cast iron so i'd assume its would be for the rear, altho gtr/ gts4 rear ankles/ knuckles are alloy
  4. best to get pictures of the actual item for buyers interest sake i'm just interested to see pics of how it was made
  5. RIP tassie cops are great, vic cops would have the belted everyone then fined
  6. i've been eying off the rossi brand on ebay, duty cycle seems decent for home use although haven't heard much about them through others everlast / tokentools are ment to last well for what they are
  7. we're getting there, how far are we from club reg or 1st track day ? i didn't really notice any damage on your doors ,if you got spares i might be after a pair pending price ?

  10. Thanks for the reply guys as i called around i picked up some info and basically got the go ahead from at least one guy saying that i wont even need an engineers for it and if needed he will pass it easily or a new bracket made up from RHS as i happened to ask that too you cant modify suspension components at all ( cut n weld ) but as the castor rod mount is just a bracket that bolts up i've been told that i can . wht510, you seem to have decent info, do you work around auto engineers or such. no chance you've mistaken the bracket for a suspension component as i'm told its fine as its just a bracket ?
  11. there is also scott mc queen motorsport, runs a few calders days dont need a cage at all also forced motorworx , and other combined sponsors such as import monster and inverse tyres are holding a day at calder check out 'inverse tyres' on facebook for more info
  12. now i've got question which i cant seem to get a straight answer for. can i notch castor rod mounts ( think of s13 ones, they bolt up to the rad support and chassis rails under the engine bay) as in cut a section out and weld in a bit of thick angle or C channel to clear something ? kinda like this ==========\ /=======| ..........................\/..................| <----- side view ==================== ( couldn't center it with out the full stops) called up some auto engineers off the vic roads site and cant get a straight answer and my rwc guy is away sick thanks
  13. they should zone the area around it as industrial so it doesnt end a like a failure of sandown
  14. drove past not too long ago, roof needs a paint too whats happening with the gts4? thought you sold the s14 ?
  15. thanks scott might just pull out the thermo' again and double check before i do anything to the pump
  16. sounds like cooler piping leaking from a loose clamp or so
  17. swap number 6 coil with another on the car ?
  18. really zero pressure when cold? was about to start on the water pump but figured i'd confirm on pressure and the rubber ring on the new rb25 thermostat before i go to the effort ^^^^ it takes me a decent drive to get the car up to 75 normally...... and these temps are just sitting in the driveway raising quickly
  19. good progress ^^will also give you more lock along with the s14 rack, just check clearances at full lock just to be sure
  20. hey all, just after some info as i searched and gave the rb20 manual a scan. what pressure readings should i be getting on the coolant system? i'm using the12mm hoses up top near the intake manifold with a t-piece barb on a pressure gauge and my readings are when car is cold running.... 0 psi and 13psi when hot 70-80c unless somehow said lines are no good for readings to be taken. blew a heater hose so i replaced hoses and a thermostat with a rb25 unit and is there ment to be a lil bit of black rubber circle ring on it near the opening( tried to see if i could remove it but seemed pretty solid so left it) as i usually just run rb30 thermostats and they dont have this ? i know something is up as car is overheating 80c while idling, top hoses are hot and bottom are cold/normal so must be water pump or newly installed thermostat thanks
  21. handbrake: find a written off r32( maybe r33?) and remove the h/b mount by drilling the spot welds out then weld bolt on trans tunnel gearbox mount: a) bolt up the box x-member normally and make up adapter plates by drilling flat bar and using that to offset the difference bolting it up on to mount and to the box b) mod the x-member by cutting the sides down so u can weld up some C Channel under it so both holes can bolt up to the body
  22. more motor sport venues are always great to see in vic to add theres a truck/bike training lot behind dandy drive in, looked ok sized last i remembered
