  5. Spotted a real clean white 33 GTR with an SAU sticker on king georges rd around 6:10pm friday arvo... was in my white 32 heading towards homebush way.

  7. hey all am chasing some splitfire coilpacks for an rb25 series 1 motor. prefer to pick up but whatever really... also chasing the rear C pillar trimmings for a 32gtst and the boot trimmings. cheers Brenton
  8. you will dfinitely need shims... i would be going to the workshope.. picking up your stuff and leaving. as Fineline said.. they will NOT be able to set the springs correctly without them... sounds like a good place to go if you ask me

  13. hey all I am toying with the idea of selling the 32 car has 190 000 on odometer RB25 with 80000kms was fitted 6 months ago... purchased at SSS automotive have dyno sheets for 197rwkw and an engineers report for ALL mods half cage new isc N1 coilovers oil cooler & relocation kit Front mount Saber brand 3 inch quiet exhaust and come with straight pipe for those loud track days r33 LCA apexi SAFC turbo timer selection or rims to choose from fresh white respray M-Spec side skirts and rear pods tein extra lock tie rods adjustable rear camber arms Cusco castor arms Aluminium sub frame bushes mini spool diff Saber 52mm radiatior Davies Craig thermo fan replacing a/c fan water temp guage and boost guage Nismo thermostat Walbro fuel pump tuned by UNIGROUP Nismo fuel pressure reg oil catch can new battery usual basic stereo gear... kicker 6x9 and 6inch 2 ways, mp3/cd player also have a power FC and s15 injectors, strut brace waiting to go in which may go seperately or possibly with the car depending sure its got other bits... will look fresh as a daisy after the respray.. bad points: has a squeek in the interior from the rear trim which i am currently looking to replace coz its bugging me. sub frame bit noisy from the aluminium bushes and the locker but looking to throw some rubber mounts in to make it less noisy pics will be up once the re-spray is finished... 1-2 weeks asking $13 000 or a trade for a JZX90 or 100 would also consider something else in the 4 door variety... must have coilovers at minimum

  16. sorry meant ball joint.. the 33 joint is thicker than the hub on the 32 so just press out the 33 ball joint and replace it with the 32 one... i have fitted 2 sets of these to both my current car and my first 32.. i figured this out the first time when i realised it wouldnt fit
  17. thinks i will be getting the camera out.. given that the strut brace fit with the 20 in it pretty sure its meant to be fitting and as previously stated.. have run both all 20 mounts and brackets and subframe adn the same with the 25... and mounts WERE installed correctly.. honestly there isnt much you can "stuff" up hey. unless i have somehow managed to leave a 20mm metal plate on my cross member will take some pics tonight
  18. yup go figure hey.... have triple checked everything... not the first time i have done a conversion so not a complete noob.. really got no idea why teh hell it sits so high.. thinking elongating holes and 20 rubber mounts is looking to be the best option
  19. nope nothing is on the wrong side.... find it kinda difficult to do something wrong with it dude.... my thoughts are as previously stated with 3 different types of engine mounts i may have one that sits differently.. when i was speaking to a few mechanics (well known workshops) before i did the conversion they told me that its not uncommon for them to sit high for some reason and it just seems to vary from one to the otehr.. he didnt understand it either. as i said previously i have tried using both combinations ie all 20 bits and all 25 bits... both sit high... the strut brace sits on the intake plenum and sits around 10mm or so above the strut tower..
  20. have3 LCA in my car... definitely agree regards to teh bump steer issues... kinda sucks, but is awesome on the track. the radirectft butyouwlneed to use the r32 bushes from the end of the control arm in the 33 arm.
  21. have heard there is variations on the mounts and cross members for the 20.... i am still running the 20 gearbox... and as said previously was originally running the 20 cross member and mounts and brackets.. but motor was sitting really high with this... was told the 25 cross member and mounts will sit lower... put it in and not so heard someting about cefiro cross member but unsure on truth in this
  22. yeah that was my assumption and how it was when i did the conversion...... except the motor was sitting high...
  23. had a HKS super silent exhaust on my old car... sounded really quiet but lost no power really.. mate had a fujitubo legalis super R whic was fir quiet too but stil sounded awesome. these are the only "quiet" exhausts i would consider really
